Red Roof Inn & Suites Midland

The room was very clean and a great location.

I had booked a disability room, but when we arrived, we were put in a room on the 2nd floor all the way down on the end. It required a lot of walking which is difficult for me to do.

The staff was awesome!

The thermostat didn’t work!

Check In took a Bit but that didn't matter Considering it was a little busy when we got there and onyl one person running the check in. The lady that helped us was extremely nice and accommodating. The morning complimentary breakfast was good and surprisingly had a good selection to choose from. The lady making all the food by herself was extremely nice and told us if we needed anything extra or so on to let her know. And the lady at the front desk that morning was extremely nice aswell and asked us how our stay was and if we had any issues or questions to let her know. Just all around great West Texas People and beautiful hospitality. Definitely be heading back here soon for other trips this time leisure lol.

It’s clean, and homey. In general, the staff is great.

This last visit, the heavy set lady who checked me in was rude, short, and not at all nice. Apparently she was upset because she was working a different shift than she wanted and was super salty since the manager was at a conference. She didn’t pay attention to my needs on my reservation, and when I asked about it, put me in a room that had no door lock, missing items, the room was clearly damaged. Apparently that room had been shut down for maintenance originally.

I liked the rooms, they look newer. The hotel itself looks very old and dirty. But the rooms were nice.

The staff was a bit rude and careless, we got there at 3:00 and our bed was still not made. We asked for them and they brought them around 5:30

I was surprised on how clean the rooms were. The staff was very nice. It was great value for my money. We had to get two rooms because we have a family of 7. They were nice enough that they put us in adjacent bedrooms.

Hard to find something that could have been better. Maybe a better breakfast. But for the price that we got, they will lose money if they offered a better breakfast. :-)

it was a nice hotel at a very low price

the breakfast was advertised to go till 9:30. when we got there at 9:00 most everything in hot food was gone. we asked if there were more eggs and they said no, if we made them at 9 they would all go to waste. There was 4 of us that wanted breakfast. I wish they would have warned us to get there by 8:30 if we wanted to eat.

I was not expecting a continental breakfast, so it was a pleasant surprise. The staff was so friendly. We arrived in the early hours of the morning, yet checkin was handled promptly and without issue. I will definitely stay there again.

The bath tub was stuck where only the shower worked. It wasn’t an issue for me, but others may not have liked it.

The hotel was surprisingly great. There are cookies, coffee and tea in lobby at night. Breakfast was pretty good. Bed and pillows are gggrrrreeaaatt.

Of course if you move the bed tables or move the mattress you’ll find dirt, but at least no bugs.

The location was great and close to lots of restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the spa tub worked great! The staff was incredible and very helpful. I would most definitely stay here again.

It’s dated. The ice machines were not functioning. None of the outlets had usb plugs for chargers or phones. Some of the curtains were worn. Pool area looked good, but the hot tub is sealed up. For me, all this is minor and did not really take away from the stay.
