Best Western Plus Stephenville Inn

the property was very clean and centrally located. we came to stephenville for basketball camp at Tarleton so we arrived in town very early. we had breakfast and went to the hotel around noon. they very graciously allowed us to check in early and even still allowed us a noon checkout at n the day we left. great staff. bug free hotel!

water in the shower didn’t get past like warm. I took two showers that barely broke Luke warm. after my shower my husband took o e and the water finally warmed up halfway through his. you have to run the shower forever to heat it up. Also the food was terrible. the eggs looked like pancakes. The beds on the first floor were not comfortable. on our checkout day the cleaning crew came through knocking on doors at 8am. was not very thrilled about that with our late checkout time!

The staff was very nice and tried to get our reservation filled. Booking.com did not send our updated dates, that we changed a few months prior to our stay, to the hotel. It was graduation weekend, we were not able to get the 3 rooms that we reserved, and there were no other available rooms in town. The hotel manager called a sister hotel in the closest town and secured us 3 rooms with a discounted rate.

Expanded cleaning services to address the pandemic are in place, and are much appreciated! We also enjoyed the modified breakfast options - the grab & go bags are great. Beds are very comfy! When the front desk staff were available, most were courteous and friendly.

We stayed in two rooms because we extended our stay last-minute, one of which was a king suite. It actually was worse quality than our king room. Bathroom wasn't as clean, damaged walls and TV remote, smaller mini-fridge. We won't be booking a suite again when we stay here next. Front desk staff were largely unavailable and I didn't see any way to alert them to a guest's presence. Seth checked us out on our last day and was not helpful. Please consider requiring guests to wear face coverings in public indoor areas such as the lobby, hallways, elevators, and dining area.

Everything. Clean rooms. Carpet looked to be newly installed, beds were nice and huge and very comfy. Right off the main strip if you are interested in walking to get food. Everything within 10 minutes including walmart bealles Cato fashions. Breakfast was very good.

The ac unit was pretty loud and the closing of the door on the next suit is very loud. When people left their rooms the doors were so heavy the closed with a loud slam which is startling if you have all nighter neighbors another con was the flies. Not sure what was going on but it was like an invasion. I had never seen anyt before ing like that before.

Great location. Very clean and comfortable stay. Breakfast was just what I needed.

I am still waiting for a response from Booking.com and Sonia Olvera, General Manager at the hotel, confirming that my pre-paid stay could be reduced by 2 nights. I have not been impressed by the length of time it has taken to sort this out between Booking.com customer service and the hotel. Hoping to get this resolved ASAP.

The grab and go breakfast was better than any other hotel I've stayed at during the pandemic! Thank you for offering so many choices and a drink inside the bag. Also, Yvette was SUPER helpful during check in. There was a hiccup from when we booked earlier in the week, but she took care of it and was super friendly.

A baseball team was staying at the hotel on our first night (Dixie State University). They were super loud and obnoxious in the lobby, singing loudly, throwing baseballs back and forth, etc. This obviously doesn't reflect on the hotel, but on the team themselves.

We didn't have the breakfast, but it was nice to know that it was available.

The only thing I didn't care for was that I booked the room through a third party, using my credit card. When we arrived at the hotel, they requested a different credit card for any extras. When I got home, the card I gave had been charged, along with the initial card I used. Today I see that the original charge was removed from booking.com, but my other card was charged the full amount. If I had wanted to use that credit card, I would have used it when I originally booked the reservation. I don't understand the point in going through 3rd party, if the hotel is actually the one that ends up charging for the room. As long as I'm not overcharged, I don't mind.

The hotel was REALLY clean, which I loved. This was our first time staying at a hotel since the pandemic so cleanliness was a concern. The continental breakfast was great. There was an attendant who served all the food to prevent the spread of germs. My mom was surprised at how good the coffee was. The rooms were great too - clean, good size, well decorated and with fridge, microwave and Keurig. The hotel was in a great location - plenty of restaurants around. Even though we didn't use them, the hotel offered great amenities too - business center, store, pool, etc. If I was ever back in Stephenville, I would stay again.

I liked everything. There wasn't anything not to like. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. I would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.

coffee in room was terrible. coffee at breakfast bar was a bit better. may have been my choice at breakfast as I chose weak coffee. 1st day was ok, 2nd day was too weak. other wise - very nice stay.

Loved the size of room and the firmness of the bed.

I could hear, quite loudly, anytime the doors closed anywhere near me. Also, since the doors are incredibly heavy, it would have been nice to have a way to prop the door open when going on and out with luggage/luggage cart.
