Perfect location and set-up for family of 5 needing 3 rooms with attached bathrooms. We visited the downtown square in Glen Rose then headed out to Fossil Rim which was only 10 min away for a tour. We loved being able to use the kitchen (microwave, table and fridge) for our happy hour and game playing at night. Cindy (morning.cook) was super sweet and made an excellent breakfast and Melanie the owner was also very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

It was a little warm at night so it would have been nice if we could have turned down the thermostat while sleeping.

Melissa and Ron were wonderful hosts. We loved the outdoor spaces. The location was central to everything. Breakfasts were awesome and there were always snacks available in the kitchen if you were a little hungry. Much better than staying at a big box hotel. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to Glen Rose.

Everything was great.

The property was beautiful! Excellent location! Literal walking distance to downtown and some really quaint, historic homes and businesses. The home and property is very well taken care of and beautifully maintained. It is very clean-which is a big deal for me. The owners are so friendly and accommodating but they weren’t hovering over you which my husband and I really liked! They would pop in and out and if they saw us, they’d ask if we needed anything-my husband and I are pretty private, so this was very nice. They have some essentials that you may have forgotten such as toiletries available. They have a massage chair that is A-Mazing! My husband made a fire in the fireplace one night and it was perfect. The home has lots of neat antiques and artifacts from the area in it to look at. The rooms are large and private. The hot tub is VERY clean. They probably bided bottled water and fresh baked, homemade chocolate chip cookies each day for us and they asked about my food allergies, which I have a million, but that isn’t a typical concern for most people. There is not one negative thing I could say about our stay. I am very hard to please when it comes to services provided to me that we are paying for and this B&B did not disappoint once! Oh! They also have adorable chickens and a handsome rooster…and even some dinosaurs:)

The only thing that my husband and I thought would be cool was if they had a swimming pool-but definitely NOT a must, and does not deter us from staying again!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I obeserved that dietary "restrictions" were honored. The owners are very personable, yet respect your privacy. There is an amazing atmospher of peace, care, and thoughtfulness. I was beyond impressed with everything they offered. The town square is just a short walk away. I won't stay anywhere else when visiting Glen Rose in the future.

I can not think of anything I didn't like.

The BB was located so close to everything, down from Big Rocks and Paluxy Heritage Parks. Walking distance to resturants, shops and ice cream shop, Shoo-fly. Liked having the outside space and game room for kids to enjoy. The breakfast was wonderful. The owners, Ron and Melissa were such friendly host and gave helpful suggestions on food locations. The patio, outdoor kitchen and hot tub was a special treat. The kids loved the welcome brownies! Wonderful place that's kid friendly.

We couldn't stay longer!

This is THE BEST PLACE!! Well worth it! Beautiful house, very clean and run by the nicest people!! We only got to meet Melissa but would love to meet her husband!! Such a wonderful lady!! She made us a delicious breakfast! It was SUCH a great place we decided to stay there again the next night so lucky there was room!! Glen Rose is an amazing town and this is the spot to stay!! Definitely a wonderful place for families!! This is a GEM!!

Everything was amazing!!

A beautiful, quiet, relaxing and fun place to stay with exceptional breakfasts! The owners have gone out of their way to after such wonderful accommodations. God bless them… we’ll be back!

Our stay was too short: too much to do there and such a comfortable and relaxing stay!

Location was ideal & breakfast was delicious. The owners were so kind & friendly & made us feel so very welcome. We loved our time there.

Breakfast was wonderful. Really enjoyed talking with the cook/host. Would love to come back and stay for several days. Wished we had more time there. We enjoyed the veranda after dark and also looking at the memorabilia and art work/photos throughout the house.

We had a little trouble finding the drive entrance after arriving after dark but our hostess was very gracious and helped us find the way.

Absolutely loved Live Oak BnB, the house is beautiful, and Melissa is a gracious hostess who provided great suggestions, great conversations, and great breakfasts. Our time there was a blessing , we were able to relax and recharge. We would highly recommend Live Oak BnB!
