There were lots of fun amenities for families. The pool is large and has a swim through tunnel to the outside part of the pool. There is a carousel that runs on the hour. Giant chess. Shuffleboard. Beautiful grounds. Mini golf course was super fun! the rooms were comfortable with nice sheets. Several on site dining options too.

It was very crowded at check in. They had an issue with my reservation and didn’t have the room I reserved available, but they accommodated us with two rooms and it ended up being even better.

We have been coming to Zermatt for years, first as a couple then with our kids. It never disappoints. We love the indoor/outdoor pool and the location is so beautiful! We ate breakfast every morning at the Bakery which was incredible. I recommend the sticky bun and the ham and Swiss croissant. Located near some excellent local restaurants as well.

Air conditioner did not work so well in our room. The bigger indoor hot tub was out of order.

I think the snow removal through out the parking lots could have been more frequently attended to. Also, the meal we are at the steak restaurant on site was very over priced with compared to the quality of (2) out of (3) meals one evening. My daughter had filet mignon and the strawberry salad and they were amazing but minel and the other family members meals were not good. He had the braised short rib and it was so dried out and grisly. The brussel sprouts weren't great either.

I loved how friendly the staff was to us. We had a little trouble locating my reservation as there was a glitch in the system, but both Booking.com and the resort fixed it without any issues. The property is beautiful! it was a peaceful experience as we were walking around the property. The lake is so pretty and the mini golf is incredible! The carousel is such a cute idea! Everything about it was so well done. our room was clean and smelled fresh. The showerhead even had where you could change the nozzle to a different sprayer. We had a beautiful view outside of our room and we were so grateful to be there.

There were several areas in need of repair/improvement. several bulbs out in room, lamps “rickety” and/or not fully functional, bathroom fan ran constantly with no obvious way to turn it off, needed to know that fireplace stared with a “light” switch. it was 95 degrees when we arrived, put things in the room, went to explore, came back to room and found that fireplace had inadvertently been switched on and room was a furnace. Of course, next day, massive weather change, evening temps went into the 30s so fireplace was then welcome.

The property is beautiful, easy to navigate, and great food. We got massages while we were there, and they were wonderful. The staff was professional and helpful! The room was a great size and the bed comfortable.

The pillows are absolutely terrible! They were uncomfortable and might as well have been non-existent. Absolutely the worst pillows ever. Also, our friends stayed at the same time and whomever cleaned the room missed the set of fake eyelashes that were still on the nightstand when they arrived from the previous guest. Makes you wonder what else got missed in the cleaning process.

We liked the location as it is very near the crater. It was a short distance from the hotel. The customer service staff were also nice and very accomodating to our request. I recommend Imelda for doing her job well and being knowledgeable about the places to visit nearby.

It could have been better if breakfast is included in the accomodation.

Nice location. Great pools & hot tubs. We originally got 1 bedroom with 2 beds and a sofa bed which felt cramped and dark. We then changes for 2 adjoining rooms on 1 floor higher which we’re much better. Roomy and lots of light.

It was a bit sleepy. The bar/restaurant closed at 9pm and there was nothing else in or around the hotel.

Rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly.

With paying so much money, you would think that the stores and restaurants in the place would be a little bit favorable to the customer staying at the resort.

The amenities were great, food delicious and room was spacious enough. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nicely updated and super clean.. Some things were closed but that was for seasonal reasons. I loved the German style ambiance of the hotel inside out.

The only detracting factor was the privacy. You could hear a conversation next to your room. Worse than that was a constant crying kid. I felt bad for the parents but was annoyed that the hotel placed us next to a family when my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary.
