I love old hotels and like supporting historic hotels. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable and was in a great little town with lots to see. The have kept all of the ambience of an old hotel. They are pet friendly at this time, but I think that they may be rethinking this. Best to ask first

I don't think they have enough staff. One of the drawbacks to this hotel is that it his one elevator that requires an operator. I believe that we were on the 4th floor and don't do well hauling bags up 4 flights of stairs. Luckily there was someone there to operate the elevator. We didn't go out that night and I am not really sure of the hours that someone was available to operate the elevators. If you are older and have problems with stairs might want to check what other options they have

I loved that I arrived off season and that the pool was still open and also warm and clean!!! Being that it was off season It was very quiet, and I had the pool to myself!!! They keep their pool open for twenty-four hours, so if you are in need of a swim at midnight, you are welcome to do so!!!! At first, I thought I was going to panic with I think only 2 rooms have televisions, and mine did not, but it was a blessing in disguise. The rooms are beautiful, they are spacious, they are quiet. They are super clean, and the old-world vibe is welcomed. Honestly, the best place I have stayed in the United States!!! The woman who checked me in couldn't have been more delightful, honest, accommodating, and sincerely, the sweetest!!!

There was absolutely nothing I did not like!!!

Breakfast was very good.The room was a suite and very nice.

Checking in. I asked if I could check in between 3-4 pm. I did this online with you. I received a response stating 3 - 4 pm was fine. When we arrived at 2:45 pm no one was at the counter. We called the number on the desk. No answer. We waited until 3:15 pm and called again and left a second message at 3:15 pm. We went to dinner. No call back. We went back to the hotel at 4:30 pm and a blonde girl was there. I told her we are checking in but had come earlier and no one was there or called her back. The girl picked up her cell phone and said oh dead battery and checked us in.

I enjoyed the Brandon Inn - historic bldg; loved antique furniture and feeling of the hotel. The room was nice - comfortable, decent amount of space. I felt like I was in my favorite movie, Clue. Loved the location - right downtown, walking distance to the shops, restaurants.

There was only a small window a/c unit - the second bedroom had no way to cool itself. The windows lacked screens - were unable to open to provide a breeze. Found garbage under the nightstand. No TV in room.

This old building has retained its charm through the decades. The staff is amazing, ready to take care of any request. The room is comfortable and clean. Ample parking in back of building. The ballroom and restaurant are beautiful examples of an era long gone, as well as the antique elevator. We would definitely stay there again. .

Rooms could use modern outlets and a fresh coat of paint. Black out drapes cover the air conditioner.

The Brandon Inn is a delightful historic place - in a beautiful. Small town - we mostly took the stairs but taking the elevator that has to be operated by staff was a fun experience- the room was super big and very comfortable - the town is lovely .Also the breakfast was great!

I suppose if you do not like waiting for someone to operate the elevator and do not like walking stairs it would be a problem but the hotel is great

Location center of downtown; late 1800s architecture, room was traditional but step up to bathroom awkward and furniture arranged strangely to accommodate two double beds . Apparently non working fireplace (summer) We were not told that the room did not have a T.V. Very good breakfast Nice back yard.

The Inn was beautiful with lots of history, the owner greeted us at the front desk and was a gracious host. The rooms were very cool but the best part was the bathroom which had stone tile across the floor and up the walls with steps going up to the 2 person jet tub which was wonderful. Highly recommend and will stay again

The room was extremely charming, well-maintained and very clean. We had tapas downstairs one evening and the drinks and food were very good. The building and furnishings are beautiful and tell the story of the inn.

Breakfast was good but on the basic side.

The breakfast had wonderful fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, variety of cereal and pastries as well as ham and cheese slices with juice, coffee and tea.

being on a lower floor would have been better but it was nice riding the elevator up with my luggage.
