I booked for just one night and hoped for something clean and comfortable. It met these expectations plus nice banana bread with breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay again.
They suggested the best way to the mountain, given parking limitations, involved taking the local municipal bus from right across the street. I waiting almost an hour without a bus ever arriving. Parking at the mountain, even at a lot far from the base, and taking the Killington Mountain shuttle bus proved a better option.

Was quite pleased with my room -- it was very clean, all amenities (pretty large TV, Wifi, fridge) were in good shape as were the beds. Breakfast sufficed for me -- I took a bagel with cream cheese and fruit every day. Staff was available and friendly but not in your face. Felt like I was coming and going from my own place. Near lots of great nature nearby for hiking and swimming. Near some restaurants (including a fine ice cream place) and Rutland is 10 miles away for more extensive choices. And although prices have gone up on my travel options a third or more across the board over the past couple of years, this represented a good value for the area and market.
Actually these are not necessarily complaints for me but I make note of...Wifi was a bit wonky at times which is understandable in the mountains, but it always came back. There is no AC -- for me this was not an issue as I prefer fresh air and they had a strong fan. Only one day was hot but all others were in the 70s and nights even went down to upper 40s -- in July! Lastly (again not a complaint) there was no regular housekeeping. I believe you need to request it but I never did -- I was fine. I would say if you are high maintenance you might want to spend the extra bucks and go elsewhere. For me this was about perfect.

First time staying here, and I found it to be very comfortable. Closer to Killington resort, and most of the restaurants on the access road. Big common space to socialize in.
One staff member, he may have been having a rough day, was a bit awkward/rude while we were using the hot tub, telling us we used up our time limit (no time limit signage, and the couple that was "waiting" told us that they weren't waiting for us to finish). We were in for a while, but the way it was said to us was weird.

centrally located. we stayed for a weekend while skiing at Killington and there was a snowstorm so we wanted to stay in town instead of driving during/after the storm. We got a suite that fits 4 people, there were 3 big beds (unlike some other hotels with 1 queen beds and 2 single beds). and there was a separate room for kitchen with sofa beds. very spacious for the price , the sauna with indoor hot tub was nice.
no fireplace in the room even tho we had a suite.

We had a wonderful stay at MSI, characterized by the laid-back atmosphere and homey vibes. Everything about MSI felt unfussy and relaxed, which is exactly what we needed to unwind. Our interactions with staff were also exceptional; Luis in particular worked hard to ensure that we were comfortable when we arrived, and this really set the tone for our stay. We enjoyed the common areas and use of the hot tub, and it was a great home base to enjoy Killington in the off-season!

This room was great. We were looking for a no-frills place to spend the night during a hiking trip and were pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean, it was easy to get in and out, and the location was really convenient to hiking and restaurants.
The only downside was that the room did not have AC and we visited in hot July. However, they did provide a box fan. We left the window open and the fan going at night, and it made the temperature bearable. The noise of the fan was louder than any traffic outside.

Continental breakfast layout was what you would expect- good stuff with plenty of space to grab a bite before you head out for the day. Rooms are pretty basic but clean and affordable- which at a location like this should be what you're looking for. Location itself right at the edge of where the restaurants and bars are- which is a plus if you're looking to grab a quick bite to eat.

In summer, things are a little pared down compared to ski season, but even so there was oatmeal, cereal, fruit, breads, and hot tea and coffee for breakfast. The room was not cramped, although the shower was a little on the small side (not an issue for us, but could be for bigger people). There is no A/C, but there were two fans in the room and the window opened, so we could get the air moving. Check-in was also super easy. The overall vibe was pretty relaxed. Location is very good; 5 mins from the mountain!
I just wish the hot tub and sauna were open during the summer!

Very cute inn, staff was nice, breakfast was good, location was perfect for hiking & exploring the area
Room didn’t have AC but they did provide a fan which was nice. The fan mixed with the windows open later in the day, took away the stuffiness of the room. Didn’t have a microwave or mini fridge but other than that it was great!

We had the Go Big Suite. Plenty of room for the 6 adults and 5 children with space to spare. 3 floors of living was great, private entrance was great, and layout with a TV in each room and two kitchen and living areas was a plus. Bedrooms were spacious and 3.5 bathrooms was key to a great week. Staff was 5-Star!
Flooring, mostly carpet, needed updating along with the cooking utensils.
