Great location, food and mall close by, lots of parking, outside of the hotel was clean and nice appearance. Walking into the hotel was nice clean, was greeted by the staff who were very nice. The floor I was on was clean and smell great, my room had a full refrigerator, dishwasher, and a microwave,I had everything I needed in my, plus it was nice clean. Who ever clean my room they did an excellent job. The gym was small, wish it was bigger, but I still manage to get my workout in, plus they had new equipment. Next time I visiting my son and grandkids I will by staying at Candlewood Suites Chesapeake-Suffolk, an IHG Hotel, also close to the highway.

Location was great. The size of the room was good. Bed was comfortable. Staff was great and very helpful.
Couch was very uncomfortable. Pull out bed was awful. Very thin mattress. Very hot in the hallways and elevator. The shower was very slippery for being a handicapped bathroom.

She is Always Tactfully Poised 🤗❗. She Never seems to have a Bad Day ❗😉Again, I say, She adds Outstanding Managerial Service To CANDLEWOOD'S TEAM 🎯💯🥰
My husband & I never seem to have a problem at Candlewood Suites 🥰 Once, I request more towels or toiletries it's no worries & hassle free!💯👌🏿

I like the fact that the rooms felt like home. Nice and cozy. I actually work in the hotel industry and I was very impressed.
The only thing i had a problem with was the table/ dresser tops. It had some sticky ares on them so make sure you wipe down those dresser tops too.

Didn't expect to pay another fee once I checked in and never received that charge back after 3 to 5 business days because of the card that it was charged to so I lost money

Rooms were very clean and the building smelled nice. The bathroom was clean which is very important. The beds were nicely made and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend.

Everything was fine and my experience was good. I already have planned to come back.
I would improve the aircon (a bit noisy). The room is not big.
