Holiday Inn Express & Suites Farmville, an IHG Hotel

The property was clean and the front desk clerk who checked us in was very responsive and helpful in switching out our room’s broken refrigerator with another one. The beds were very comfortable.

Very crowded with lots of noise from people who have no manners and think it’s appropriate to hang in the hallways laughing, talking and constantly slamming their room doors. Luckily this stopped around 10:00pm. Not enough seating room to hold the number of people at breakfast. Had to fight for eggs!

Front desk staff was Excellent!!! Especially the young lady upon checkin...Breakfast pancakes were very good

Upon arrival. No soap for sink and only 1 set of towels for a double room so had to go to front desk for items The following morning left for the day and no cleaning service was done so back to the front desk for more towels.We ALWAYS leave a tip for housekeeping this time did NOT because they didn't provide service.Also 1st morning no fruit .2nd morning bananas to green to eat

The room, the bathroom, the continental breakfast and the door security was awesome.

The window blind was a little stained. The TV cable could be more modern with more channels like OWN, VHS, GSN, CSPAN, etc. The TV remote control was definitely old. That was a little disappointing. Guests had to keep asking for supplies for the bathroom. The microwave plate was missing until we asked for one. Not cool. The bed linens were not changed at all throughout the stay. The TV would also shut off every once in a while and it would also freeze sometimes.

Overall this was a very good experience. The staff was helpful and it was very clean. They were able to accomodate my down allergy with hypoallergenic pillow. (ALL the bedding is feather)

The facility felt outdated and showing wear. The pool was disappointing and the mirror in our bathroom looked like it overheated. I know I'm being nit-picky, but I expected more from the Hyatt brand.

The service from the front desk to the cleaning of the rooms. The location of the Holiday Inn was excellent near stores and restaurants. People are friendly. The breakfast was really good and they kept the area cleaned

The pool would have been great but the water appeared to be a little cloudy as it needed to be cleaned, and towels was needed in the area. Also, the exercise room could use some other equipment like leg press

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The workout room was very nice and had a variety of equipment. The breakfast was very good and had many options. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival at 3p.m. which was the check in time, the room I reserved was not available for check in. The next day I asked the front desk for another bottle of lotion which was smaller than travel size and another makeup remover wipe that was in the room when I was finally able to check in and I was told of course, but never seen another through the course of my stay. The pool was nice, but did not feel heated as advertised on the website.

The location was great. The room was very clean and large enough for the three of us. The breakfast was great and there was a lot to choose from. The front desk people were very nice considering the hotel was completely booked. I would definitely come back.

New property. Convenient location, Indoor pool, decent breakfast. Staff was pleasant and very responsive when I requested more bedding for the sofa bed.

I wish the suite room had some sort of separation from the rest of the room instead of just having a couch.

This hotel was recently built, the room was clean and spacious. We had a problem with our air conditioning in the middle of the night and we were quickly switched rooms. The breakfast was great, there were a lot of choices.

The sofa bed was not comfortable, you could feel the metal structure through the mattress.

Friendly very helpful staff, bright clean comfortable rooms microwave a big plus. Outdoor tables and chairs good option especially with the warmer weather

Need a 3rd wastebasket for under the bed table for tissues candy wrappers, etc. I ended up using the outside container from the ice bucket and lining it with a dollar store bag, and putting the inner container in the fridge with the ice A freezer section in the fridge would be good, I bought popsicles didn’t realize there was no freezer. Oops !!
