Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lynchburg Liberty University

This was an anniversary trip. Check-in was a breeze and we were warmly greeted. Room was clean, temperature was easy to modify (we like it cool), and the accommodations were great. Bed was comfy and they provided enough pillows and covers. We were in a king room with a sleeper sofa, so it was nice to be able to spread out a bit and have a place to sit. There was an indoor pool and it looked well cared for, even though we did not use it. The views from the hotel were beautiful - the mountains, sunsets and even the pretty Liberty campus.

We ate breakfast late, and there was hardly anything left. So, if you want to take advantage of the continental breakfast, be sure to get up early. That was really the only "bad" thing.

The location was great. My son and I came to visit the University and the location to it was fantastic. Great place for visiting families as far as location goes.

The mattress on the bed had to be the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. It was just awful. Please update these! It was so bad that we are considering not staying here again despite the location.

The room was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The breakfast had decent options and was good. The pool was nice and clean.

Because I booked my stay through booking.com, check in was a bit of a pain.

The breakfast was good. There was an Adaquate seating in and the temperature of the food was good.

They did not tell me about an extra charge to my card for services and I did not use any now will be 7 to 10 days to get

The breakfast was great! I like that you all had a option with the hot food (because I don’t eat pork or beef…so I like that you had turkey sausage). The room was really spacious and clean. The staff showed excellent customer service from when I check in at the front desk to the next morning for breakfast. All staff members greeted me with excellent service.

The bed was not comfortable and the tub didn’t really look clean.

The staff all around was very friendly and accommodating with an exception to the pool.(that was our main reason for getting the room was for the pool!

I got this room because of the indoor pool. We live in Lynchburg like 4 miles from hotel. It was a special staycation for my son. The staff was amazing. But sometime during the early evening when we went to dinner it was decided by a worker to do a sign up list for the pool. We werent made aware of any list. So at 9 my son wanted to swim but couldn't because we didn't sign up on a list that we knew nothing about. Needless to say it was very disappointing.

The accommodations were very satisfying; comfortable, clean, and stocked.

It took quite a while to get checked in because the woman at the front desk was distracted by trying to find her cell phone, then kept doing other things instead of focusing on me. Sorry I didn't get her name. And all she had to do was call her phone from the front desk phone.

But I did not like being charged twice you all charged me, and so did Fairfield hotel can’t afford paying double please correct the error

I didn’t get to eat breakfast. Totally my fault. I supposed to fill out this card with what I wanted and how many guests and I totally forgot so I didn’t bother with breakfast. The staff was so nice it probably didn’t matter and they probably would’ve let us still eat but I didn’t bother
