The location is excellent, just one subway station from Union station. Capitol can be reached within 20 minutes walk. Many good restaurants are nearby, 7-Eleven and Trader Joes in walking distance. Check-in and check-out were easy. Large, clean, comfortable rooms with a huge comfortable bed. Just a little noise in the night from the trains passing by. The only negative point was the breakfast which was outsourced in local Starbucks. First day the staff was not aware that we have breakfast there and wanted us to pay, other days they always told us differently what is available for hotel guests and what is not. Also gluten-free options were practically non-existent, although the hotel told us that they served gluten-free meals.

The hotel is a few doors away from the Galludet-MoMa station on the Metro's red line. It is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and clothing stores, supermarkets, and specialty stores. If you want a quick bite or a snack, a 7-11 is a few doors away and a Subway as well as a Five Guys are across the street. The room has a microwave and a small fridge. The staff are welcoming and professional. Housekeeping is provided and you can dine at an onsite restaurant or order room service.

My room was a little on the chilly side, even when I tried to adjust the thermostat. The thermostat said the room temperature was 72. However, it felt more like 65. The covers for the bed were rather skimpy, so I felt a bit cold.

The staff was great. Nicole was helpful even before we arrived. She provided excellent information about how to get to the location. In the bistro Moe was outgoing and tended to our every need. We did have a day when the cleaning staff did not clean our room but we reported it and they corrected it the next day. The valet team was warm and receptive and very helpful as well.

There is a lot of construction around the facility and it is pretty noisy with police and fire car activity.

I liked the cleanliness of the room and hotel. There was some pizza and tater tots in the reception which traveling always leaves you hungry and so that was a nice touch.

The location was pretty awful. Woke up to cops arresting someone near midnight. It is a busy city, and I imagine this was a downtown-like part of the city, but i didn’t feel safe getting out of the hotel once I made it inside. I parked and checked in but I didn’t feel like my ca would be safe in street parking. The valet was nice and I’m glad it was available but it would have been great to have easier access to my car.

The night security guard let us in and guided us in the right direction to checking in, we got in at 10:30 pm. So the hotel is very secured and safe. Once on the 2nd floor we were able to check in right away. I didn't catch her name but the night clerk was very sweet. We received a 2 queen bed room, versus the king bed I requested but honestly it wasn't a big deal to me since the room was very spacious. Rooms were clean and well stocked. You can hear the metro but very minimal, it never once bother us. The gym was excellent and the pool is very nice to have after the hot days of sight seeing. Just keep in mind the pool is only 3 feet deep so it's more of a sitting pool. The bar was a nice thing to have as well and we absolutely loved our bartender. Metro is just steps away from the hotel, easy access to getting to downtown DC. It was also very nice having many restaurants at walking distance, we happened to go to St. Anselm that was a few blocks from the hotel and it was delicious. It was a great and pleasant stay for us and we will definitely choose this hotel on our next stay.

The air conditioning unit was a tad bit loud but it wasn't unbearable. Hotel doors were a little bit heavy when you would close them other than that the hotel was fantastic.

Clean, friendly, and helpful staff, room comfortable and bright. Metro was close, and there were many food choices in the neighborhood. There is even a Bistro in the hotel and Starbucks.

The 50$ a night for parking was a bit steep, but I knew about it going in. The neighborhood is a bit scary as the sun goes down, but the hotel has security and also security features that make you feel safe. You can tell the state is really trying to clean the area up. The hotel is right on rail tracks, but there is good insulation and windows that the noise is low to zero.

Excellent location, just a few feet from the Metro subway station. Close to several sit-down and takeout restaurants, as well as a 7-11. Friendly, welcoming staff. Comfortable bed. Good to have a microwave and a refrigerator in the room.

There were Internet problems and I could not use my laptop to check my work email or do any work from cloud-based files. The room had two bottles of water but they cost $4.00 each. Better to go to the 7-11 and get a bottle of water for half that amount.

Very friendly staff, central location in walking distance to Capitol and Union Station. Beds slightly bigger and very comfy. Handy laundry.

Breakfast was run by Starbucks. Limited choice and a bit sparse and over priced. Toilet flush was running with hot water. Not sure whether anybody will take care of it. If you happen to be on the rail side it is a bit more noisy, but bearable.

I liked the location and also I was able to find parking. The staff was very professional. The 7/11 was closed when I checked in I wanted some cold drinks/beer so I glad I was able to buy it at the Hotel shop.

First thing was there was an issue with my room lock. I was having trouble locking up. When I went out this morning for few hours my room door was open. I am sure I locked my door when I left. I took all my belongings but what if someone came in and took something. I hope I didn’t get charged for anything extra if something was taken out of the room when the door should’ve been locked. Last thing I didn’t like was the $100 deposit. The was not mentioned on booking.com.
