I liked the location and also I was able to find parking. The staff was very professional. The 7/11 was closed when I checked in I wanted some cold drinks/beer so I glad I was able to buy it at the Hotel shop.

First thing was there was an issue with my room lock. I was having trouble locking up. When I went out this morning for few hours my room door was open. I am sure I locked my door when I left. I took all my belongings but what if someone came in and took something. I hope I didn’t get charged for anything extra if something was taken out of the room when the door should’ve been locked. Last thing I didn’t like was the $100 deposit. The was not mentioned on booking.com.

Pros: The breakfast was good, the egg, potatoes, waffle, and bacon, they're delicious. The room looked awesome clean. I would come back again.

Cons: The parking, it's not a self parking and it's not free either.

I was on a girls trip in South Carolina, when I had my wallet stolen. After a week of taking trains, buses, and Ubers… I finally reached Washington, DC where I last minute booked a room at the Marriott Courtyard. I was tired and stressed upon my arrival at the Marriott, as it’s been a long few days. I’m travelling back to Canada and having some of your personal items stolen from you feels overwhelming in a different country. The HOSPITALITY of the three individuals upon my arrival at the Marriott Courtyard will hands down be the BEST experience I have ever had at a hotel check in. The manager Lyle, and the staff Mo, and Nicole made my entire night. They welcomed me, helped me forget about the crazy week I had - and truly genuinely cared about what I was going through and how they could make my stay a safe and comfortable one. Having your wallet stolen can make you question the good in the world, but Lyle, Mo, and Nicole made me remember there’s always good. Thank you to them for being kind, caring, considerate, and understanding. I highly recommend staying here. The room is cozy. The front lobby is clean and inviting. The location is convenient to town. BUT most importantly the staff are incredible. Thank you Lyle, Mo, and Nicole (ya’ll deserve a raise - all the best).

The hotel is located steps away from the Gallaudet University Red Line Metro station and near several Metro buses. It is secure, as evidenced by the locked first floor door and the presence of a security guard in addition to valet personnel. The hotel's rooms are decent-sized, and they include a refrigerator, microwave, and hairdryer. The bar/restaurant has limited menu items, but what is available is prepared quickly and is adequately portioned. Beer is available on tap and in bottles. If you like wine, a variety of reds, whites, and sparkling wines are available. The choices aren't super, but they will do if you want to have a round or two.

The hot water in my bathroom (room 522) really was not that hot. I found myself washing my hands in what was at best lukewarm water. When I showered, it was as if the water pressure were low and hot water was a premium. Paying $4.00 for a 20-ounce bottle of soda was a bit exorbitant, so next time I will probably dash over to the 7-Eleven a few doors down. The 7-Eleven had donuts that were as tasty as but cheaper than the hotel's breakfast pastries.

Super friendly staff! The hotel was not much booked on the second day of our stay, so we were offered to order from the regular breakfast menu without charge (instead of the buffet) and we could do a late check-out also for free. Great customer service! Besides of that, a regular, comfortable hotel at a reasonable rate close to the metro.

The breakfast buffet choices were somehow limited - not bad at all, but less than expected, the good standard of the hotel given.

The stay was amazing. The hotel is in the center of town and next to a Metro station. So travelling everywhere was very easy. The area is very safe. The front desk(I was welcomed by Justin) and staff were very accommodative and sweet. They even gave me an early check-in. Room was very clean and cosy and had everything that you could ask for. I would highly recommend this hotel for any visiting Washington DC!

Wish there were more options for food!

So much better on the inside than the outside. A genuinely warm and bubbly staff really makes a difference when you're exhausted, and the valet parking with in and out privileges couldn't be easier. Gave me a great late check out and the room I requested. There was a problem with my air conditioning setting and the shower door, and the front desk got a new set of towels and the engineer up to fix it quickly and without any crabbiness. Really comfortable bed bedding and pillows are always a great surprise. Good water pressure even on the 7th floor, bathroom was not fancy and had no ceiling fan but bright and pleasant, relatively recent remodel.

Google Maps is hopeless trying to find the front door. You absolutely cannot turn left where Google Maps tells you to, so be prepared to take a couple of stabs before you get there. Air conditioner was noisy, and room really would benefit from an extra set of blankets. Also a night light in the bathroom please. Definitely small for a king size room with a sofa bed, would be cramped for two but the square footage was clear on the reservation.

Very comfortable beds/pillows. Nice TV. Spacious shower, good water pressure. Good location to metro stop (Noma). Lots of restaurants, new area called Union Station

Not enough soap given for the shower and sink. Weird. Easy enough to call and ask for some, but should automatically be enough in the room. Valet/attendants at doors downstairs often not there.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. No issues. Staff were extremly helpful and proffesional. Got a room with a nice view on both street and train station. As for the included breackfast, eventhough it was a preset menu, It was very good with great quantity and quality. Chef, "Mohammad" was great and very welcoming. He prepared excellent breackfast meal. Rooms were clean and tidy. Loved the coffee bags in the rooms. I will think about re-booking in case visiting Washington DC once more time. Location is not bad, almost 10-15 minutes walk from the center. At a middle location between Target and Walmart as well Safeway.

Nothing to say. All went Well. Thanks.

Location near a metro station, and close to local amenities - shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Interesting, tasty breakfast menu. Helpful staff Comfortable bed Good shower and bathroom Good size of room

Other room door tended to slam noisily (door closers not adjusted properly?) waking me up. One unsavoury character loitering around '7-11' shop next door on one occasion giving me abuse for no good reason! Coffee machine coffee pods don't fit properly into the top slot (but managed it somehow with a bit of adjustment!) High Washington hotel accommodation prices!
