Stayed in a 4 shared dorm. It was just me and this one other guy who seemed to be living there long term Walkable distance to Union Market area and many notable restaurants like St Ansalem, Toki Underground, and Nomad as well as a Trader Joe's, all in a 20~25 min walk distance or 5~10 min drive Parking on weekends is free next to the hostel but not on weekdays Comfortable bed that's actually not flat and pretty good quality after a tired day of walking Artsy lounge and very nature like atmosphere with free wifi and free water
Entrance to hostel is hard to find, no signs to the hostel because it is still a bit new (located right next to Homewood Inn/Hampton Inn) Parking on weekends is free next to the hostel but not on weekdays Workers seem to speak English at an OK level A bit pricey for a 1 night hostel stay compared to rest of the world but that's US

Accommodations were VERY good compared to what I expected. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were CLEAN!! Overall experience with the hotel was better than I was expecting. Found street parking much easier than I thought I would, also.......
Needed a heavier blanket/comforter on the bed (even with the heat turned up, the windows did not retain it well and the room was still a little too cool); need an easier or more defined way of getting ice since there are no guest ice machines (the Front Desk was very accommodating but because there are no ice "buckets", she had to bring it to me in an extra large plastic Ziploc bag); the Body wash dispenser in the shower was broken so I couldn't access the wash; the highway noise was very loud at night (I'm a very heavy sleeper and even I had trouble sleeping thru the night).......

Recently remodeled hotel, so everything is new. Well laid out room. Nice decor.
The hotel entrance is dark, there is no clear identification, looks like the entrance to a speakeasy. Plug for computer at desk was under the desk, requiring you to bend under the table to plug in and out. The hotel is along a train corridor, trains passing at night make noise and toot their horn.

The cafe and rooftop bar were great, everything in the room was clean and in good order, the smart TV was useful. Also the staff was friendly.
The biggest complaint is that noise from the hallways is heard very easily. Sound reducing decorations in the hallways would be nice, and there's a huge gap under each door that I blocked with pillows. The room was a little small and if I had to do makeup or share it with anyone it may have been inconvenient in that way.

The location was nice. A lot of things were walkable distance away.
There is a surprise fee that I had to pay at check in that came out to like $70 for 3 days. It was for the "free" amenities so they were not free - even though we said we will not participate in the "free" yoga, "free" breakfast (from 8 am to 10 am only), or the "free" group sessions because we were in town for a packed weekend. Super predatory to not tell us that was going to be charged when checking in on the app (which I had to download to check into the hotel, you may as well have put that charge in there so we know).

Comfortable bed. Nice bar and breakfast spaces. Good breakfast.
No tea and coffee making facilities in room. Poor lighting levels in room. Particularly at the wash basin. Seeing what you are doing when shaving is important! Poor water pressure/flow at shower and basin. The wash basin took way too long to fill. Shower control handle position did not relate to the lettering on the shower wall plate. Graffiti on side of building. No hair dryer in room.

The hotel is very well located, close to Union Market. It has a unique style and a fully equipped kitchen, which I found great in case you want to cook.
At times, there is a lot of noise. When I arrived and tried to rest, the cleaning staff were speaking loudly throughout the hallways, making it impossible. It's a bit noisy as everything can be heard, but overall, everything else is fine.

The first time I’ve stayed in a hotel where the mattress and pillows worked for me. I have a bad back and it was happy throughout! The people working in the hotel were very friendly. Free Wi-Fi great. The roof terrace and complimentary alcohol-free beverage (at least one evening) were lovely, but not well advertised. As someone travelling from the UK would have been nice to have one complimentary tea or coffee per day. I did buy a hot drink and was satisfied with it. Although the breakfast looked good and the price was competitive for DC, I couldn’t afford it on top of what I paid for the room.
There could have been better soundproofing between the hallway and the room as I was woken by talking and squeaky housekeeping cart wheels most days. It would have been great to have two towel hooks (instead of one) and a small bin in the shower room. The room was very clean, but there was some hair on the floors when i first arrived. Some of this may have blown in under the door ( there was a gap under the door), but I would have liked the floor to have been swept or hoovered each day.

Lovely hostel with clean, fresh and stylish design. Loved the little private pods with their curtains, lock boxes for possessions and charging stations.
I was told on check in to pick with of the bottom 2 beds and let them know in the morning. When I check out in the morning, the lady on the desk was persistently frustrated with me because I had apparently slept in the wrong bed. She found it difficult to understand that I had been told to take either and kept telling me I should have been in the other one and how difficult that was going to be for them now. I was quite shocked.
