The owners are doing a great job upgrading the property. It could be a fantastic resort destination. As it is, it is comfortable and very much pet friendly, relaxing, by the river. One of the best locations in Winthrop for pet friendly lodging. New beds are super comfortable. If the owners keep at it, this could be a super go-to location for a resort location with restaurant (not there yet), bar (not there yet) and a place for events (not ready yet). But now as it is, for a week or a few days, a great relaxing stay.

They need to fix a few things. Ice availability, a little bit of plumbing issues in our room. All of that will get done. They are working on it,

Pet friendly. Policy was confusing and not clear through booking.com. Make sure you contact the inn prior to arriving to RSPV the pet. It had a pool/hot tub you could book for 1hr periods. We were able to get a spot but they filled up fast. 30 minute spots would have been better to accommodate more guests. The fire was burning at the pool sitting area and twinkle lights were aglow so very cozy. It was a short distance from the balloon festival site, convenient. All rooms had a view of the river and sunset! I was able to book with 2 weeks notice. Comfortable basic room had a microwave and fridge, balcony. Plenty of towels, soaps, cups and glasses.

The room was basic but came with a fridge and microwave, while being clean and comfortable. It was difficult to get ahold of staff who had very limited hours and weren't always available during posted hours. They said it was because of winter hours, but this was the major holiday weekend for the area. We couldn't borrow dvds or get ice. Tv had about 3 stations and most seemed to play 1980 shows. Inside pool tile edge was green and needed scrubbing. The wood walls in the pool area seems to have mold, but nice sitting area with a fireplace.

Our family and our dear friends have been coming to RR for about 25 years. This “clan” has seen our babies grow into teenagers, who turned into adults with families of their own! We even celebrated a wedding at RR. This year of 2022 we all came together for a reunion. It was truly a beautiful experience and we loved this special place, the River Run Inn.

Needs updating with newer appliances in the cabins, and cleaner carpets.

Beautiful interior of the home, right on the river, decently stocked kitchen, friendly staff, comfortable beds.

The hot tub is very small, had to be reserved, takes a while to heat up, and was broken one day. Also, the layout of the house is weird - one of the "bedrooms" is really just a laundry room sandwiched between the other two bedrooms and bathroom, such that you have to either walk through a bedroom, or walk through a bedroom AND bathroom to get in there, which would just be good to point out. Could use another cutting board and some better non-stick pans but otherwise kitchen was lookin pretty good!

I love this place, I stay here every year!

The ONLY bummer is the mattress and pillows. It's a hard air spring mattress that looks like it's from the 50's and my back and hips were dying after the first night. The pillows are down and not very full so they flatten paper thin the moment you lay your head on it. My husband and kids had the same discomfort I did so this isn't a one off. I will keep coming because I love the location, staff and amenities but please PLEASE get new mattresses! Tuft and Needle is a great foam mattress brand (small business) that I'm certain would give a solid discount for buying bulk.

We loved the location of our room #7. It was so peaceful and the view was fantastic. It had a wonderful layout and lots of windows. It was great having an air fryer oven! The location was great, as it was an easy walk into town.

There were no paper towels in the kitchen, the pillows were very thin and uncomfortable, and the wedding party neighbors were partying very loud both nights into the early morning hours.

Beautiful view, nicely laid out unit with kitchenette, deck and backing on the river. Convenient to walk into the main part of town.

On checkout the staff person tried to deny that I had paid online despite email, booking.com app and credit card charge reflecting that I had paid. She was very accusatory and rude. This put a bitter tone on our stay. Also, the bed wasn't comfortable

Great location close to Winthrop town centre, very quiet. Enjoyed drinking morning coffee by the river. Staff very friendly and welcoming and were helpful when I had to change my reservation.

Well stocked. Clean Plenty of seating Nice to have puzzle and games available Nice to have two decks Loved the wicker chairs in the living room, so comfortable. Coffee was tasty.

The master bedroom air conditioner was very, very loud but very necessary. Too far from river for the amount of rent.

a beautiful resort on the river bank. on the 20 scenic route and close to some exceptional trails in the north cascade np. highly recommended! beautiful rooms with the river flowing just in the back of the room - a beautiful sight to wake up to! staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
