The room and the bed thank you

Dispute the fact that it was more of a “cheap motel” it was great. It’s what we were needing at the moment. The staff was amazing ( not so much morning people lol) the price was perfect and he works with his costumers if needed. The place is more of a family place I noticed. Were all are friendly and the children all play together outside loved seeing the brother/sisterly love for each other and was welcomed graciously.

Location was easy to find. The price was very affordable for what you got. The housekeepers were friendly.

It was an older motel and they rented by the month and some of those were junky outside their door. The flowers were very nice but needed more weeding done and lawn needed to be mowed. The office was a mess. Only one man handling everything. The owner was stuck in West India because of Covid-19. The bed was very comfortable. The housekeepers hadn’t cleaned the bathtub, but the rest looked clean. Could have used a few pictures. There was no breakfast and there was only one small bar of soap in the bathroom and no hand towels.

Although bedding very old, the bed was comfortable.

There were cock roaches in the room. I seen several and my daughter had her bag open so I told here to close it up. She went through it first, and there was a bug on top of the clothing. (Ick!!!)

Gent at the desk was very nice and helpful, interesting conversationalist. Other staff and guests I encountered also very friendly. Weird synthetic sheets and thin bedding were adequate for the air conditioned room.

The room was atrocious. Tap handles in bath need to be removed and completely cleaned, and don’t turn the water completely off. Did not use the shower. No hand towels, so used one of the wash cloths. Great tile in sink area, but the rest of the assembly is painted C grade plywood. Bed and night shelf only, no chair or desk or table. No hangers in closet. No lamp other than harsh overhead light. Ceiling had me thinking “asbestos.” This is a motel probably used to housing migrant laborers, who deserve better accommodations for feeding us. They likely don’t do a brisk enough business to afford serious refurbishment and then wouldn’t be as affordable. $57 does not buy a lot of quality just about anywhere in 2023, and it didn’t here either.

no bedside lamp for reading. ROOM HAD AN UNPLEASANT SMELL. . Closet (if one call it that). had only one hanger.

The owner was friendly, and the location was convenient.

After returning my room after a late night event, I discovered that both beds were filthy. The situation was so bad that I abandoned my room, drove to another hotel and paid again for the same.
