We just loved staying in a local hotel that has been operating for over 100 years. We enjoyed the charm, comfortability of the room, being downtown, the quiet, and especially the whirlpool bathtub I. The room.

We got a deal on this stay. Normally this stay would have cost $300-$400 per night. The breakfast was good but underwhelming and it was missing a more personal approach. It felt a bit more like a Hampton Inn than a locally run bed and breakfast.

The rooms were like no other. The design of the rooms is outstanding. The artwork and the furnishings were curated beautifully! Yes, the hotel is quite old, but the masonry and vaulted ceilings and beams are amazing. Upon a recommendation to try out the Anvil Restaurant - we found the place charming, with unusual design just like the hotel. The patio sits right by the river and waterfall - so picturesque and the sound of running water was lovely. They also had music the night we were there - it was lovely. The food was fine - not the best we've had but, our waitress was terrific and made the experience perfect, even though the food wasn't.

The lobby could use a refresh...the furnishings looked as old as they probably were. Upholstery and new cushions could do a lot for a better first impression.

The location was perfect for the time we wanted to spend and the things we wanted to do in downtown Cedarburg. The room was very clean, tidy, well appointed for the small size - charming, and cozy. Also the parking lot was so convenient.

Please leave directions for using/ turning off and on for TV. Having a list of stations was helpful. This was only a small thing though.

Breakfast was wonderful, delivered to our room each morning; pastries are homemade and delicious! Room was beautiful, lots of soft towels, friendly staff.

Bed was a little firm for our liking and the side of our room faced the street. The 3 windows let in the street lighting at night and traffic was noticeable.

We stay at a certain hotel chain in bigger cities to have a great breakfast. We first thought the breakfast might be just continental but it turned out to very, very good. A nice surprise.

The inn is older and by the road, possibly the main road through the area. You hear all the traffic and sirens easily.

It kept its charm from being a hotel from the late 1800's with modern conveniences. The price included wine and cheese social hour and an amazing breakfast with recipes from that time period. The breakfast was truly amazing. The staff were VERY friendly and helpful.

We have nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect. Nothing negative to report.

Very quaint old style hotel. All the rooms are adorable and they offer breakfast and wine hour with stay. everything was delicious and the staff was very helpful. The only trouble we had was a the first night with the internet and they were able to fix it the next day.

Spotty Internet

Beautifully restored old building. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Decorations were classy. The shower was spacious and wonderful. The location was perfect! Included in the stay was a certificate for a wine and cheese tasting at a nearby restaurant/pub. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was pretty small. Breakfast wasn’t great, but that might be the remnants of COVID keeping the variety of the options down. What was offered was pretty good. Power outlets were a bit scarce, and the WiFi was up and down.

SO much more than I expected! Because the photos on their website showed the 19th century decor, I expected everything to be more quaint. But, our room was fully up to date with a beautiful shower, a huge spa tub, and two fireplaces - it was unexpectedly amazing! Received complimentary wine tasting tickets as well. Will definitely be back!
