My wife and I really liked the location as it is right off the major road. Our room was clean and comfy, and spacious. The check-in process was easy, and the staff was very friendly. We really liked the pool and hot tub and were impressed by the showers/bathroom/changing area. Nature seems to be right at your door with plenty of deer and wildlife just feet away. The make-your-own waffles at breakfast were very yummy. We will likely return during another trip Up North!

We really wished there was a hot breakfast, as this was really missing at Rustic Manor compared to some other lodging options in the area. A prior trip to Rustic Manor included a hot breakfast, so not experiencing this was disappointing. Going the extra mile to provide something simple like scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy would've been nice, as the options were primarily limited to make-your-own waffles, cold cereal, yogurt, muffins, and the like. When we're spending time in nature and out the trails, starting the day with a hearty breakfast is important, and with the limited options that were presented, my wife and I felt like this was the only part of the entire stay that could've been better.

The breakfasts were great! My son enjoyed making his own waffle every morning. The location is nice as it's close to everything. The room was nice size with the coldest air conditioning I think I've ever experienced lol. The staff was helpful and very nice. We had a great time and would definitely return!

The only thing I could say that was negative was that the pool seemed to have too much chemical in it. It really smelled like chlorine bad and if you got any water in your mouth on accident and it went down your throat it burned like you were drinking battery acid. But it didn't stop us from swimming just couldn't stay in too long.

The breakfast is listed as a Continental Breakfast but we were pleasantly surprised to find it much better than most hotels we've stayed at with hot breakfasts. There was a great variety of breakfast items available.

There was barely enough room between the bed we slept in and the wall to be able to get into the bed. Both the beds should have been moved over about one foot. We tried to move them but they were unmoveable!

Nice looking from outside. Friendly lady at window. A lot of wood is the theme here but rooms are modern , decent.

Let it be known the original owners have retired and left. Under new management and hours have been reduced at check-in. Staff is a little concerned how this will effect the operations here.

The location was great for all our traveling needs. Didn’t take part in the breakfast, but heard good reviews from other guests who did. Looking forward to returning next year. Thanks for making our getaway vacation great.

The lock on the door didn’t work outside, But could lock it when we were in for the night. One of the 3 light bulbs above the table was burned out. The toilet seat was wobbly, but only needed finger tightening. None of those things interfered with enjoying ourselves at Rustic Manor.

What a great place! Extremely well maintained both inside and outside. Comfortable bed with enough pillows and towels. Nice grounds with chairs and tables situated around the grounds. Something for everyone. Nice breakfast as well. Pool and hot tub were super clean. Definitely would stay here again. Lots of outdoor things to do around the area.

I was hoping for a microwave in the room...BUT, the breakfast area had one available so no problem, and I totally understand the extra work that the cleaners would have to do. Worked out fine.

Sharon was terrific upon check in. The property was immaculate, and the surrounding were very tranquil. The room was very well kept and very clean. The continental breakfast was an added bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay and would stay at Rustic Manor again in a heartbeat. Fabulous experience.

There was not anything negative about my stay.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and Friendly with all aspects of my stay, from the late check-in to breakfast and even having a pizza delivered at the front desk while we were in the pool. The room was larger than expected, with homey touches like sturdy coat hooks on the wall and patterned linens on the bed. I especially appreciate having a ceiling fan in the room! I look forward to returning the next time I visit the Northwoods!

Lighting the lamp we had in there when the girl tries to put a new ball in it Sparks so it didn't work she had to bring us a lamp and the ice machine by us didn't work very very clean best beds I've ever slept on excellent continental breakfast

Friendly staff offers fish cleaning house. Swings,picnic tables, firepit, horse shoes, right off bike, UTV. and snowmobile trail!

Pool was little cool, but whirlpool was nice and warm. You can hear your neighbors but the older couples are early to bed. Nothing owners can do about thin walls.
