The individual buildings and general setting has considerable charm: Trees, grass, fresh air, and hens running loose. With ample parking space, it is possible to reverse up to the door to unload, then park more tidily. There is access to Wind River from the garden (through a gate that should be child safe for younger children); some guests were fishing when I went to take a look. The lodge is well situated for visits to the nearby national parks and reserves, and coffee and restaurants can be found in Dubois.

The room itself was fine, however as every movement from the guests above caused the floorboards to creak, their late arrival and early rise made for a short night. Another time, I'd request an upstairs room (and yes, I'd happily return).

me and the family really loved everything about chinook winds motel it was a great place and some of the best people there. they make sure you have everything you need and take really good care of you. we brought some food to cook and they let us use there personal grill and even gave us spices and seasonings and offered us to use there kitchen in the house. the kids loved it they have horse shoes, corn hole , the river and chickens running around and they do huge bonfires in the middle of the place. we will definitely be going there at least once a year! just wanna give huge thanks to all the people running the place.

The best thing was the staff. They were very friendly and offered us the use of their BBQ to cook our dinner. They even built a fire in their main firepit for us to eat dinner by. My daughter and I traveled over 3k miles by motorcycle and had to deal with 2" hail, rain and a tornado. This place was by far one of the best places we stayed. I would love to stay here again and I am recommending to my friends that we try to book this place as a venue. They have an amazing back yard, outdoor kitchen with an additional fire pit on the river.

Cute western feel. Great customer service. Super helpful. We had a late check in. They made sure the room was all ready and super easy check in. They had wonderful communication

Thought room was going to be in an actual cabin. Room was exactly as shown but exterior showed pictures of cabin. Still great stay and super great customer service. No real complaint just mis understood or missed something in description.

Very cute spot. Loved sitting around the campfire in the evening on the chair swings, the friendliness of the employees, the charming and very clean cabins, and the ease of check in and check out. The coffee in the morning was great too.

Nothing to complain about.

Location was great. The room was nicely decorated and the rustic decor was fitting. The grounds are well maintained.

The shower and toilet were very tight. That is just the design of the room, but it would be uncomfortable for a large person.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Started a fire in the fire pit and looked for marshmallows. Guests sat outside and got to know each other.

Floor was squeaky and you could hear the upstairs guest.

Very beautiful location that was easily accessible. The room had a lot of space and very comfortable beds.

The bathroom was very small. The area the toilet was located in was almost claustrophobic.

Surprise gem. Pictures met up with the actual property. Very charming. Loved the campfire at night and the running stream behind the property was beautiful

Friendly, clean, and convenient check-in. Also, it is a nice location, right by the river with good spots to relax on the grounds.
