Greybull Motel

Liked that the room was cooled by central air and did not have to hear the air conditioner coming on thru out the night. Liked the continental breakfast. It was very nice and the homemade bread was delicious.

I was told they have central air and that our room was cold. I was told how to change the air coming into the room. This is summer heat and it got to 100 degrees that day we stayed. The room did not cool off enough and we both sweated in bed. Did like the motel but if the rooms do not get any cooler, we would only stay during winter when you do not have to worry about the air conditioner.

A wellrun small ‘mom and pop’ run establishment. We have stayed here before several times over the years and we continue to be greeted warmly and appreciated the comfortable rooms. As motorcycle tourists we appreciate close proximity parking to our rooms and the provision of rags and cleaning fluids for our bikes.

Sad to hear that this property is in the process of a sale, but owner states that she will remain as an employee to manage the property. We have reservations for 2023.

The room and property were very well taken care of. I felt like the manager/owner took pride in the property. The Greybull Motel was on the main drag and many dining options were within walking distance. The continental breakfast was adequate. We needed to take it outside as there was not a common area inside to eat.

The motel was very quaint and cozy. It was kept very nicely with lots of flowers all around the entrances to the rooms with chairs outside of the rooms. It was like being at home. The room was very clean and the beds were exceptionally soft. The bathroom was small but very clean. We were in a rush in the am to leave to get to our destination so we got two pieces of raisin banana bread which was very good and ate on our way. Lots of TV channels to choose from. Good internet connection.

There was nothing to not like.

I really enjoyed the swing in the front yard and the easily accessible tables and gathering spaces. The room was quiet (couldn’t even hear the train), and stayed dark all day, and the bed was comfortable.

The only downside for me was the learning curve of the central air vent. It blew on one side of the bed, and has a screw adjuster.

We loved the homey feel of this lovely and clean house. It was a benefit to have a working kitchen with a fridge/freezer because we decided to stay an extra day. Having a fridge, we were able to keep our ice frozen and our food cold!! It was very comfortable!!

The only issue is very minor and it is more of a decor issue. The picture in the front room above the single bed is a little eerie and scary. My girls saw it right away and mentioned it looked dark. So much so, that my mother wouldn't sleep under it and slept on couch. I had to take picture down and put away. I did hang back up, and even with the light of day, it was a dark piece of art. It really didn't go with the rest of decor anyway. This is such a minor issue, because the whoe stay was very comfortable!!

When you arrive, you are surrounded by your own oasis (flowers everywhere). It gave us a feeling of being home. The owner is fantastic making sure you had everything and taking time to talk to you. Love it!

Nothing...There was nothing to not like.

Clean and comfortable beds. I loved having a refrigerator and microwave and a place to sit outside with beautiful flowers all around. Love the continental breakfast

The bathroom door and bedroom door was difficult to open and close and made a loud sound and woke up my friend during the night when I had to use the bathroom

This property was very clean and quiet. It was a good value, and was perfect for our needs. The office was decorated quite nicely, and the homemade bread in the morning was delicious!

The only thing that concerned me was that there was only one button lock on the door. (No deadbolt or chain lock) But it’s a small town, and it really wasn’t an issue.

They had chairs, tables, and benches right in front of the rooms and all under cover to enjoy the evening. They even provided windex glass cleaner, paper towels, and clean cloths to wash your car windows. We would be happy to stay there anytime we are in the neighborhood.
