My son needed to print an identification sheet in color for the ACT but forgot to do it at home. The front desk did it for free, which was a huge help. The motel was less than 5 minutes from the ACT site. The motel's location and check-out time of 11 am gave me time to get in two hours of good work while my son was taking the ACT. There was plenty of parking near the best door to reach our room. All of the employees were very friendly to me and others I saw. The room was an excellent value.

Anthony at the front desk is the BEST-every time we've stayed there. The property is clean, easy to find, and has everything we need. It doesn't pretend to be a 4 star hotel, but is easily the best value in Rawlins. We used to (over a decade ago) stay at a different property in Rawlins which was double the price and had nothing more to offer for the added price tag. So glad we found 1st Choice Inn many years ago when we were vendors for a craft show and needed a less expensive place with standard amenities.

Everything was exactly what it claims to be-we couldn't have wished for more!

The rooms were cozy like grandma's house water pressure was amazing..everyone friendly. I ran into the manager April I believe at the laundromat as I locked my keys in the car she proceeded to go to the hotel and look for something for me to use to get in and then call friends until she found something that I could use and she helped me get in my truck she wouldn't above and be on the call of duty she's a kind of person I would want running my business for sure and everybody there seemed very nice and welcoming You can't go wrong with staying there.

Not one complaint

This was a perfectly decent hotel at a very good price. If you are breezing through town on your way to anywhere, There's no reason to spend a ton of money elsewhere, go budget! The bed was comfortable and had a bed bug cover on the mattress (yes, I checked) the room was huge, water was hot, and the air conditioner worked, quietly. These are my hotel requirements and I saved $100. If you need a hotel for sleeping, stay here. If you want a pool and a restaurant, go elsewhere.

The carpet is pretty tired.

Large, clean room with king bed. Traveling with a dog and they put us right by the back door so easy access to dog area. The room is much nicer than I expected for the price. All new appliances and furniture. WiFi is very fast and stable. Great place for an overnight stop. Don't let the outside fool you. This is a very nice motel, just a strange looking building on the outside.

Train runs right behind the hotel, but it is not too loud with AC running.

It was so clean! Don’t let the metal on the building fool you; this place is nice! The staff is nice! The sheets and bathroom are CLEAN!

They still have to offer smoking rooms and you can unfortunately smell it throughout the entire building. The staff was very very nice and accommodating about it but, unless it became fully non-smoking I would not be able to stay again.

The value was excellent

There was supposed to be a continental breakfast between 6-9am, we arrived at 645 and literally all we saw were the containers to dispense cereal. Nothing else, nothing. We didn't expect much and were mostly looking for coffee the airpots were still upside down from cleaning. We went to the front desk, rang the bell- no answer. If you advertise the breakfast you should fulfill it, or stop saying you offer it. Not settng it up is lame, and there was no hotel staff to be found at 645

It was clean quiet and the whole motel was clean. Easy access to outside for my eas dogs. Very nice guests. Just homey.

Ceiling piece in bathroom had water damage and caulk missing. A few things here and there. Mainly out dated. BUT the price paid was comfy clean and quiet

I am VERY happy we stayed here. Great find that exceeded our expectations. My husband and I are on a cross country trip and happened to stop by the town of Rawlins. Luckily, we decided to stay here instead of one of those branch hotels. The room was spacious, bed was super comfy, shower worked perfectly! Hot to mention the front desk staff, very nice and welcoming. VERY clean room. Beeakfast was great - we got ourselves bagels with cream cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit and granola bars. Fresh team and coffee was right there as well. Overall, this was a great stay. This would definitely be our 1st choice whenever we’re in the area. Recommend!

This place suited my needs perfectly. I am a cyclist riding across country and this room was cheap, on the Transam bike trail and within walking distance of restaurants and stores. It was also a great price.

They really need to do a maintenance check of all the rooms. My first room's shower did not work, my 2nd room's hot water sink faucet did not work. The rooms are clean but they need to check all the equipment in the rooms.
