Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, quiet during the night. The breakfast was okay, not bad, but also nothing special.

What I liked less was the request to pay for the entire stay during the check-in. As a rule, in other hotels I pay during the checkout. At the end we agreed that certain amount will be just blocked on my credit card at check-in day, so the payment was done yet at the end of my stay. All in all, a small episode, which didn't affect the overall positive impression.

The location is great, the staff are friendly and the hotel is clean/comfortable.

They charged VND 30,000 just to bring up 2 additional water bottles to the room.

The pool was great for a daily swim and the breakfast included in the room was quite good in terms of selection and quality

Both the bed and the pillows provided where too hard. Also, there is a golf driving range on the lakeside of the hotel. So, if you are room is facing that way and you have a balcony, as I did, you'll have to listen to golf balls being hit all day long. That's just part of this hotel, so, if you like golf, you won't have a problem with it.

The pool is amazing as are the sporting facilities. The men who helped with luggage were very polite and friendly.

A little tired in decoration and not everything was replenished in the room everyday. The reception service is fine but not very personal. I have stayed in other hotels in Hanoi where the reception staff take a personal interest in you. It is a little removed here.

Very nice amenities with the pool, overseeing the lake. Gym, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. Also has a driving range, but you have to pay. Reception and cleaning staff were okay. Only the bellboys felt friendly and accommodating. Location isn't great if you are trying to mainly explore Old Quarter.

Beds were hard, considering Pool needs to get cleaned often, or else there is going to be a bunch of dead mosquitoes on the surface.

The hotel is situated on the lake with excellent views especially from the lap pool which is superbly maintained. The gym is one of the best equipped I’ve encountered at any hotel. If you play golf you’ll love driving balls (they are lighter) into the lake. Our room was quite large and well equipped and comfortable. A big shout out to the front desk and bellmen.

They are quite guarding of the coffee pot at morning breakfast.

Breakfast: the food was delicious with excellent variety. I especially loved the omelet and the coffee!! All of the help, from desk people to restaurant servers were kind, helpful, and efficient.

I liked everything! I was not disappointed at all. Everything exceeded my expectations. The Hanoi Club Hotel overall is better by far than many hotels in the USA which would charge far more than The Hanoi Club.

Helpful friendly staff

We asked for potato chips/fries and truffle fries. They arrived separately and were both cold. We asked for them to be reheated, and the manager in the restaurant told us: 'eat quicker', basically told bus it was our fault!?

The view is just spectacular, the room was well equipped for and you can take a bath while looking out on the West lake.

The staff didn’t explain things clearly, it felt rushed. the lock in the room isn’t possible to lock for safety reasons but it wasn’t possible to even close the door stopper which was a bit uncomfortable.
