Location: The hotel is conveniently located with many restaurants within walking distance. Taking grab is very easy and cheap to travel from point to point. Check-in: Welcomed by the friendly smiled bellboy and front desk staff. The check in process is fast with a welcome drink and little local snacks. Room: The room is big and clean. The room decor is “old fashioned”. Having smart TV in the room with many functions however, it doesn’t have the mirroring function to iPhone. The bathtub is not useful; rain shower will be better if have. The bad thing is the room door. They should change with a soft closing door. Every guests apparently are slamming the door. Affecting sleep in the late night and early morning. The minibar is free except the wine. Housekeeping: The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even place a personalized thank you card on your desk. Breakfast: Variety of choices. To us it is a good breakfast to start the morning. The gym and spa: The gym is very small with treadmill and a few dumbbells. Don’t have bench for doing weights. Spa has a steam room n sauna. Rooftop bar and pool: The pool is at level 12 with nice breezy view. The happy hour drink is very good. The dinner price is reasonable and food is fabulous. They have wedding function at the pool and notice was given to inform the hotel guests. They even provide alternative to use the next door hotel pool. Day tour: The price a bit of the pricey. For the convenience, you can just book through the hotel. The exchange rate at the hotel is 1 usd to 22,000 dong. Not much of a difference from money changer and bank. I feel it is safer to exchange at the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed the stay at Eden Star. The staff is friendly and helpful. Keep up the excellent work. Thank you.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool was closed due to construction nearby but when we said we were only staying 2 nights and the pool was an important reason to choose the hotel for us and our 3 teens they accompanied us and let us swim which was great! The view from the rooftop was amazing. The bedrooms were spacious. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Vietnam - so much choice!

The bathroom was a bit ‘style over substance’. The shower was over the bath but it was impossible to stand and shower as the bath sloped down so this was very awkward! The bath seemed to be leaking Given the importance to us of the rooftop pool and rooftop bar I think we should have been notified in advance that this would be closed during our stay. Although they offered us use of their sister hotel’s pool for free this was not on the roof

The location of the Hotel is perfect. At the City Center with many indian restaurants near by and food and drinks near by. @ restaurants we tried were Saffron and Natraj. Hotel staff was helpful and was able to speak English which helped

Rooms were small and bathroom was okaish. The basin tap was not working properly. Breakfast did not have much spread and Veg/ Jain options were limited

We stayed for 8 nights and were impressed by the caring and attentive service. At the buffet breakfast, the waiters remember your food preferences. At the pool, towels are handed to you. When entering the hotel, the front doors are opened by humbly bowing men. The rooms have good AC and smooth WiFi. The outdoor swimming pool on the 12th floor was often pleasantly deserted during the day.

Weddings and birthday-parties are common during the weekends (on the 12th floor, outside). If you have a room on the upper floors, this can be disturbing. The bed mattresses need to be replaced in many rooms. Nasty stains can be seen through the otherwise clean sheets.

The breakfast the room and the pool are amazing and i loved it so much, the pool service was excellent the pol bar manager is so accommodating and even in the breakfast time each and everyone gave us the best service . I would like to give a big thankyou to the Hotel management Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung who is the General Manager and Mr. Le Phung Thinh who is the front office Manager both of them gave me and the Hotel an amazing service and gave me a great welcome, next when i go to Ho Chi Minh i will be staying there again and i love that Hotel .

There is nothing i can say i don't like because everything is so perfect, i think it's one of the best hotel i ever stayed in Ho Chi Minh city , i been so many times to Vietnam this is the best Hotel i can recommend.

Our stay at the Eden Star was wonderful. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. Our family room was large and there were free drinks replaced daily. The rooftop bar and pool never got too busy (end of August) and it was a stunning way to enjoy views of HCMC. The breakfast was incredible - I'll be dreaming of it for months. So much choice, plus pho and eggs made to order. Location wise, the Eden Star is pretty good. It's away from the busy area of District 1, but you can walk to all the sights within half an hour, or cheaply catch a Grab taxi. I actually think it's situated in a more authentic area of the city - you can walk around the neighbouring streets and enjoy local Vietnamese life - moreso than in the very centre of District 1. There are some lovely restaurants nearby and also the main park. It is very much a larger Western style hotel (we had stayed in smaller local hotels in the rest of Vietnam) but it was comfortable and relaxing and was a great end to our family adventure.

The only downside was the laundry service was quite expensive so we didn't use it. Elsewhere in Vietnam we had paid by weight, but here it was by item which for us made it unviable. So we had to hand wash in the bathroom sink!! You could use a local laundry but it was the end of our holiday so we didn't bother.

Only one blemish on our stay. Bearing in mind we chose this hotel primarily because it was central and had a pool, it was disappointing to be told without notice that the pool was shutting for a wedding. Whilst this was only for an afternoon, had there been notice we could have used the pool earlier in the day. What actually happened was that a short time after settling by the pool, the staff started removing all the tables, chairs and loungers from around the pool and we had to ask what was happening! It is just poor communication but it made for an annoying and avoidable situation.

Like anytime - all was really perfect. In particilar to mention how clean is that hotel. Actually its my 6. th time in Eden Star and especially thanks for Ms. Vo Kim Long. Thanks too for anybody who work in reception and for genius service, at all. I will be back very soon.

Tiny hint: some lamp are brocken and in that junior suite should be one iron. Included I would like to have some more light in any bathroom. Included in any bathroom is missing some shelf and some more hooks for hanging the clothes. Great to find it next time. And...I would like to have another choice of pillow ( more soft) ...;+)

Walking distance to many places: Ben Thanh market, cafe apartment, takashimaya, Saigon square, vincom centre, central market, war museum, Saigon skydeck, Saigon post office, saigon book street, independence palace. Bed is good, room is spacious, reception are good as well. Bathroom are clean, shower hot or cold is easy to adjust. Breakfast has lots of variety to choose. Services and environment is like 5 ⭐ hotel. Will stay with this hotel again, if going to Ho chi Minh.👍❤️

Location this hotel is excellent. 10 minute walk to the market, museum, reunification palace, parks and other sites. Plenty of good restaurants and useful shops nearby Staff were excellent, very friendly and willing to help Breakfast was great with plenty of freshly prepared hot and cold options. Rooms were comfortable and clean with plenty of space for luggage Plenty of international tv options for when you want some down time

Our bath/shower combo left a bit to be desired - quite hard to get a decent consistent temperature and pressure. When we tried the whirl pool facility in the bath it initially churned out some pretty smelly water and then didn't really work. Plus the seals on the bath were dirty and look like they were starting to fail.
