Great hotel, amazing room and facilities. The breakfast was nice but because i arrived 30 minutes before the end of breakfast. Somethings were no longer available, I guess it should be available to all guests regardless of the time. Items should be only removed after the breakfast closure.

The pool bar sign stated that it closes at 19:00hrs. I went up there to have a drink at 18:30hrs and it was already closed. Then I went to the lobby bar and the bartender was already closing the bar at 19:00hrs. He redirect me to the other hotel Windsor Barra to go to the bar. I was disappointed and confused why would a hotel lobby bar would close at 19:00hrs when it is the time that people wants to have a cocktail after their meetings or before going for dinner.

Very good and varied breakfast, excellent shower, excellent, helpful and so friendly staff, if I could give 10 stars I would give to Yasmin(Reception) and Igor(Porter), they'd welcoming me so nicely, for sure, next time would I return to Brazil, I'll return to Windsor Oceânico Hotel.

My only problem in this Hotel was the bed, it had a hard mattress and unfortunately, the bed in my bedroom(1334) had some strands of hair on the bed, so, that is quite disgusting and not up to standart of a Hotel in this category. Which is a shame...

the pool and roof is small

Our room was very spacious and had good views towards the sea. Staff were professional at all times and also nice. Located very near the sand strip and of all the kiosks of Barra seaside walk. A short taxi ride away from Barra Shopping for more restaurants and cinemas and all the shopping one 'does not' need. A rooftop bar and swimming pool to complete the set. PS. if you are looking to all of Rio's attractions this place is a little too far for that. This is a different Rio for the usual tourist.

If I must say something I think the rooftop pool is too small but that cannot be changed now. However the seating area could do with a little improvement. It's OK but not particularly attractive. It's just modern and a bit too minimalist.

- Large, comfy bed - Lovely view from rooftop of the endless beach. Great to swim in the rooftop pool - Good location 2 mins walk away from the beach and under 10 mins walk from a number of good and lively restaurants. (Obviously is in Barra da Tijuca so far away from major tourist hotspots like Ipanema, Copacabana, Santa Teresa, Centro, Lapa) - Friendly and helpful reception staff who spoke fluent English - 17 floors but lots of modern lifts meant you weren't waiting ages - V clean - Midday checkout always a bonus!

Minor points. None of these things a big enough deal to make the stay nearer a 9 than a 10 - Room smelt a little of stale cigarette smoke and rubber - Toiletries in room felt poor quality (bad shampoo, no conditioner) - Breakfast is solely buffet-style, no ability to order any eggs etc freshly made or a cappuccino/latte/flat white etc that isn't standard filter coffee from the flask

The food was excellent, staff are very friendly, great pool area with fantastic views. Would stay here again.

The Wifi was poor, I was on a work trip and this slowed down my ability to get work completed efficiently. The bar service is very slow, the staff are lovely but could certainly be quicker. Waiting 20-30mins for a drink isn't goood.

Front desk was terrible experience. The hotel charge you in advance without will to give you receipt with specification what you are paying. Slow and unfair. They try to cheat me for reservation of 3000 real instead of 1000 real for breakfast. We spend one hour on reception. Nightmare. First time after more than 100 hotels that I write negative comment.

Clean, comfortable, close to the beach and other things I wanted to do..., I will stay again and recomend it. Rooftop pool area is great, with a sensational view..

It was sooo cold in the lobby and breakfast area, very uncomfortable, bring a sweater to breakfast! One other thing, the beds were fine, but the pillows could be better..

The only thing is that barra is a little far from the popular attractions in rio. Not a big deal because it’s easy to Uber everywhere

Multiple breakfast options, comfortable and clean room. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful, also they spoke spanish when needed. Wagner who did our check in told us about all we needed to know in our stay and gave us information and advice about activities in Rio de Janeiro
