The concierge were always present and welcoming. They assisted us on several small matters. The elevator was always quick. Parking was generous. The room was ample for a family of four. The bathroom, particularly the shower - potentially a deal breaker - was on form. The kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, mini fridge was amenable to our needs. Housekeeping was daily although we declined their services every other day of our four-night stay. BTW Very good value for a family. The restaurant was open, even on Xmas Day although Dickson has plenty of other food supply (Woolies and Coles) and eating venues nearby.

A family room could do with more cutlery and crockery. The floor wasn’t clean. My kids wore socks around the room and that’s how we tell. How we can always tell…

Large, spacious room in quiet building. We had a spa room which was fabulous. Clean and practical, well-maintained, very comfy bed. Friendly staff. Coffee-maker. Good location: easy access to shops. Guests are automatically allowed free membership to the club, which includes free undercover parking and access to the club facilities (gambling and restaurant). The club restaurant was surprisingly good in its menu variety and food quality (we had lamb shank and steak).

The shower was over the spa bath (not a separate shower). The included breakfast was supplied by an outsourced coffee shop which had a lovely menu, but the breakfast allowed for the hotel guests was limited and not nice (we had the omelette).

The room was spacious. Bathroom spacious also with plenty of toiletries and a good shower. The hotel was quiet. Parking underground and free. Easy to get to. Location had plenty of eateries in walking distance, including China Town. The hotel is attached to Tradies, a club, which meant food and drink available on site, which was tasty, fresh, plenty of choice and available all day. The tram into the city centre is just 5 minutes' walk from the hotel and they run every 10 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes into town. We bought a day ticket and then used the bus to get around the attractions. The staff were super friendly and efficient.

Nothing we can think of. We'd stay again.

The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The hotel is located within a reasonable walking distance to public transport, including the light rail, and Dickson shopping centre. Easy access to the facilities of the Tradies Club including restaurant and cafe.

I would have liked a bath rather than just a shower. My room had internal access and a lift but I noted some other rooms were accessible only by external entrance doors, stairs and walkways which may be an issue for some travellers in adverse weather conditions. The price of my room included breakfast, but the memo was limited to three simple meals with a drink. After the first morning, I went to a local cafe for a breakfast of a big bowl of porridge and fruit and a hot coffee a great meal on a cold Canberra morning.

The Cafe in the hotel had amazing breakfast food & coffee! It was brilliant to wander down there of a morning for a decent big breakfast. The pub had excellent well priced meals too. (Make sure you get the free members card from Reception when you check in for 10% off food!) The room was excellent in size, it suited the two of us perfectly & the heating was brilliant. We stayed comfortable of a night, even when it was chilly outside. The curtains kept most of the daylight out, so we didn't have to worry about being woken up too early. It wasn't too far out of the way from anywhere. It was quite a good location for visit all the sites

The balcony was over the carpark. So not really much to spruik over... or really worth the upgrade... nothing really to see. The corner shower was quite small & difficult to wash in due to the placement of the bodywash & shampoo/conditioner bottles. (They could have been tucked more into the corners of the angled shower.) The shelving unit in the bathroom was a bit rickety, so tapped the wall every time we went to get something out. But it was a convenient location for our bathroom stuff.

Easy parking. Great checkin. Booking requests taken care of efficiently. Access to Tradies meant easy access to facilities especially for limited mobility folk. The staff went out of their way to accomodate my particular needs along with being polite, courteous, happy and understanding at all times. Room service meal was fabulous and delivered in a very timely manner. Bluey’s Cafe for breakfast a treat and the staff there very helpful and cheery which for me was a lovely way to start the day. The Restaurant busy however once again very efficient and the meals on offer give much variety as well as being quite good. The accessibility rooms are fabulous for anyone needing an accessible room. Two facilities could improve the ease of stay for people with limited mobility or simply bodily challenged. The door needs to, when opened all the way, stay in the open position so clients may make a safer entry and exit to the room as a safety feature. Secondly the only power points for accessing charging any devices were one in the kitchen. Otherwise on floor level and difficult to access. This was remedied by a power board on loan from reception very quickly but places customers in the position of questioning how truly accessible the room is. Small things such as this can frustrate folks who feel they do not have the right to ask for help but as I said to the lovely young man who checked me in and assisted me … in many other hotels there is access to power points either by the bed ( not on the floor ) and on the room desk or cabinet ( not on the floor ) by way of either direct power points or USB hubs. So … suggest the hotel ensure a power board be installed into each accessibility room. I stayed in Room 124 in Atrium near Railway Carriage. This room has an adjoining room via a door so for families a great idea.

The minor for most but important for those in accessibility rooms observations in review. However as I said … anything the staff could assist me with they did so with a smile and efficiently.

I stayed at your hotel over Easter and would happily do so again. The room, while somewhat dated, was comfortable and clean. There was a pleasant leafy outlook. I had asked for a quiet room and you kindly arranged that for me. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional.

The only real problem was that the thermostat of the aircon unit didn't work. Despite the set temp being 22C or even 24C, the room temp never went above 18-19C. The heating would kick in for about one minute, then turn itself off before the room warmed up. I mentioned this to Reception only when I checked out because I knew an aircon technician would not be available over Easter.

It was on the 2nd level, to open the door relied on a hotel key-card. I was also provided with a temporary member's card which was designed to allow me in and out of the basement carpark (it was useless) and to get discounts on food and beverages (worked well). It has the biggest gaming room in Canberra and free soft drinks and zero beer within it. Also close to other food outlets and public transport.

Member's card did not work the boom gates. By pushing the help button staff lifted the boom gates when requested.

Accomodation was clean and comfortable. Easy access and friendly staff.

Advertised a good breakfast when we booked however were offered a small box of cornflakes and an up and go as a “on the move” breakfast. When told this wasn’t good enough a voucher was given for the cafe where only three options were available. Selected eggs on toast. One piece of white bread cut in half and a poached egg on top. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking it’s a proper breakfast.

Close to shops, the was comfortable and there is a restaurant in the attached Tradies Club.

I don't understand why they charge a $50 holding deposit when they have your credit card details, which is supposed to be refunded when you check out, I am still waiting for my refund. They advertise breakfast included but they don't advertise that you can't get it until 7.30 am. I stayed there for three days because breakfast was included, Unfortunately, I had to be on-site at 7:30 a.m. Luckily there is a maccas nearby.
