Dalby Homestead Motel

We were in Dalby for a horse event at the Dalby Showgrounds. It was lovely to be able to stay in an air-conditioned room and cool down in the pool at the end of the day. I had booked the suite for the extra space as my husband had to do some work from the room while I was riding. The suite was comfortable and had everything we needed- it was hard to leave!! Didn't have the motivation to use the Jacuzzi because it was summer and the pool was right there! Because I had the car, hubby had to walk to the Showgrounds on occasion. He informed me that it is not a far walk and if you go through the park it is quite pleasant. The park has a beautiful water feature to walk along. Lots of fast food around for a snack, and the Indian restaurant in town is amazing, try the Malay Kofta if you eat there!

Everything was amazing, the only minus was the very slow internet in the executive suite- maybe because it is higher up from the other rooms? We ended up porting from our mobile phones to make working possible.

The bed was absolutely fantastic probably the best bed we have ever slept it, we both had a perfect night sleep. The room was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated we loved the little rainwater tap. Even though it is right near a main road it was very quiet, or we were so fast asleep in the amazing bed we didn't notice any noise or traffic.

On the app it said check in is until 8.30pm but we had a call and were told they close at 7.30 so that left us rushed the get there but luckily we made it just before 7.30pm

Have stayed here a few times in the last few years, I must say that the bedding is the most comfy out of all stays I have had anywhere. You appreciate the bed after a long hard day. Facilities are great, suitable for that working night away from home. 5 min walking distance to most eateries and essentials. Just a great place.

The locations was very central to our visit to our children and grandchildren. It was close to food and grocery stores. Breakfast was easily accessible and well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful in all ways. Traffic noise was very well muted.

There was an annoyingly loud noise during the first night and into the next day but we think it was a loose pool gate that was blowing in the strong winds. In all other ways it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Excellent customer service, very accommodating, I was a late arrival and they prepared my room for me, heater and lights on, and made sure I had crockery and cutlery to be able to eat a quick meal :) Very friendly and caring

Warmly welcomed by friendly staff Owner engaged with us, rather than treating us like customers!!

Toiletries - could have had a few more - e.g. body lotion, cotton pads, cotton buds. Despite having a microwave, there were no plates or cutlery. Room information book said there would be a toaster but there wasn't. We didn't need it but I thought it strange to tell us about it and then not have one in the room

Staff were really friendly and helpful, room was really clean, and most of all there was good decor and art!! I loved the art!

Electronic key was a bit dodgy I had to get it swapped - the staff were on call tho if o had gotten into trouble and couldn’t get in to my room

Every thing was amazing. Room was beautiful. Very clean with great amenities. Staff were super nice and helpful . Will definitely be back for a longer stay

My unit was most comfortable, the bed was excellent, the facilities equally good. I would recommend the Homestead Motel to anybody travelling and looking for accomodation. I found Suzannah, on reception a delight as was Mary.

Very central location and quiet although on a busy road. Rooms are very clean and facilities are excellent.
