The Australian Hotel Motel

In the middle of town, very handy.

Firstly, when we went in to our room, which we had booked the day before. It looked as though the cleaning lady had a rest on the bed, hence photo all wrinkled bed sheet, pillow. Also the shower, there was an opened shampoo which there was 1 missing on our face washer to welcome us. then there was 2 smoke detectors on the bench in kitchen. which they should have been put on the ceiling I think? Definitely wasn’t cleaned properly. Actually we had to wait nearly 1/2 hour to get into our room. we booked in after we had lunch in the pub. We didn’t see anyone in reception, so again Rene, had to book us in. Not really good enough!

The big room had a great ensuite and hotel is clean. Upstairs in accommodation is great

2 staff members were off and made things difficult but the staff member did well. On street parking only. Unfortunately I had to walk down other end of town to another pub to get a feed. Beer cold be colder at the pub downstairs. Bit expensive but this is pushed up by the websites forcing us to go on ship cruises or overseas instead of our backyard. Very sad. It's not the motel or pub doing this

All the rooms were a good size and were well sound-proofed. The beds were very comfortable. Each room had a balcony over the main street with enough seating for a group to gather. Lovely hot showers and a full-sized bath in our room. Never needed the heaters on even though it was mid August. Lovely wide hallways give a very open, modern and spacious feel to the hotel. Reception and bar staff were courteous and very helpful. The Australian Hotel Motel was excellent value for money for our large group of lady golfers.

Unfortunately all rooms were on the first floor and the lift was out-of-order. We were warned there was little on street parking available but had no trouble finding enough street parking close by to suit our requirements.

The room and bathroom were spacious. Also had a large balcony with table and chairs. Bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. Although it was on the first floor in the pub, we didn’t hear any noise from the bar or restaurant.

It didn’t have any bedside lights. The ceiling lights were very bright. There was no on/off switch by the bed either. Only one by the door. A box of tissues and a shower cap would have been appreciated too.

Room was spacious, bed comfy, linen on the bed was great and clean, towels were old and could do with replacing but in saying that the towels were clean. Cleanliness of the room was great. View was overlooking all the air cons. No room with a view but the curtains were drawn. Toiletries were always well stock by the staff. The Staff were excellent. Reception, Housekeeping, Bar and Restaurant staff were always obliging.

No car parking at the back of the Hotel. We had to park in a public car park which had no security.

Everything you could need was there. For example ironing board, hairdryer, extra blankets, Toiletries. Lovely balcony to sit at outside the room. Everything was lovely. Having a shower and a bath as well was great.

It was fine , but bigger coffee cups would of been better. And more television channels would of been great too. The bed was a bit on the hard side. But that’s fine cos other people might enjoy a firmer bed.

The spotless preesentation of the room, the linen was dazzling and the bed was very comfortable. The cleaning staff do a first class job. I will make the Australian Hotel in Dalby my accomodation on trilps to Toowoomba in future.. It's an hour from Toowoomba and easy time for appointments, Then an hour back for another night's reast and away to an eary start for the journey home. I kick myself for not thinking of that sooner.

Because of a hearing problem, I found the television sound level too low. I understand that loud television can be a problem for other guests. Anyway it is election time, time to get some sleep!

So kind to have allowed me to pop my bags into my room at 1pm as I needed to attend a wedding and a 2pm check in would have seen me miss the wedding. I'm super thankful for the accommodation and I would definetly stay again.

I did see theirs curtains in all the rooms on your listing's. But this room didn't. Not the end of the world as I was up early to drive back home. But I'm sure if i had a hangover. Then beaming light through the wondow wouldn't have been appreciated. Hahaha

The room was clean. The linen was clean and fresh. The bathroom was spotless. There was plenty of towels available. sufficient room in the fridge. plenty of tea and coffee available.

I had mobility issues and the lift was out of order and this made getting up the stairs with luggage extremely difficult. I have recently had a double knee total replacement and stairs are the most difficult movement for me. I did not like parking on the street where security was not available.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the room was very clean and modern - looked like they had been recently renovated. Very comfortable and a great location in the main street which wasn't noisy at all. It might be different if the guests in the next room are noisy.

The elevator wasn't working when I stayed there and there is only on street parking which is tricky during the day because of the limited hour (one or two hour) parking. There is a carpark a short distance from the hotel.
