Room Motels Gatton

The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. There was plenty of shampoo etc. for what we needed. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

My parking space was taken by someone else twice out of the 3 nights. The stools in the kitchen were hard to sit on (it felt like you were going to fall off the front) and quite hard for Mum (90 years old) to get up on. Also because when you sat on them, you were half on the kitchen floor and half on the other floor, it felt a bit unstable. Also the door was a bit jammed and you had to slam it to be able to lock it.

This little gem of a Motel had everything we needed, was clean and very comfortable. Location is fabulous and the staff were very accommodating ensuring that we could check in an hour early so that we could get ready to attend a Wedding. We also appreciated that there is ample parking and that there is a pergola style roof to ensure your car is out of the weather! We stayed in a Deluxe room and were impressed with the size of the room, particularly the kitchenette and lounge facilities.

The shower was a great size, however when we tried to make the shower warmer, it reduced the pressure of the water which was a little disappointing.

It’s probably the best motel in Gatton. The motel is quite well maintained, the owner/staff is friendly and responsive. We also noticed that the owner has installed one more set of washer and dryer which has made it much more convenient for the guest to do their laundry.

The cleanness of the motel has deteriorated , especially its carpet and floor, seems like they are not cleaned regularly, we even noticed spider webs between the carpet and the cupboard, and there are small dead insects on the toilet floor. There were also dust on the bedside tables and sofa.

close proximity to town and surrounding areas of interest. friendly staff and helpful,knowledgeable of area. very clean and well set out.BBQ area nice to sit when visitors arrive . Also very quiet no noise.Easy sleeping .

sorry but didn’t like the high stools feel would be better to have a small table with chairs even my adult son and husband found them hard to manage.And feel that a fixed shower head would be better .found it hard to wash my hair with 1 hand ,seemed that shower head in wrong position. and was hard to adjust water temp without water going everywhere.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean

It was a disabled room which was fine as I needed two single beds. She is not disable but fairly small. The only place to eat at is a high bench with two very high stools. Mum struggled to get onto the stool and it was even high for me. Not sure where someone in a wheel chair would eat. Even a very small folding table would be good to go with the one chair in the room. After struggling to get up on the still to drink her cup of tea she opted to sit on one of the beds to eat her dinner as it had a bedside table next to it.

Every, single, thing! It is THE BEST country motel to stay at in Australia hands down!!! The food is simply fantastic, incredible clean rooms all your expected toiletries and some, great comfy beds, they even supply eye masks and ear plugs, holy... I have stayed at Room Motel Gatton a minimum of 4 separate stays and in 4 different rooms, each and every stay has just been a godsend relief to my travels. The room we stayed in this time round seems to have gone through renovation, the blinds and toilet tiles were different from the room we stayed just one week ago This room is much cleaner than the previous one too.

The windows in the toilet should install mosquito net to prevent insects from flying in through the windows when we turn on the lights in the toilet. The toilet was full of little flying insects once we forgotten to turn off the lights immediately after use.

The room is well laid out, the bed is very comfy and the room was particularly clean..

Our only concern was with the shower facility, because the shower wall doesn't go all the way to the floor and the shower itself doesn't have a door on it,, the floor in the remainder of the bathroom area especially in front of the toilet became totally covered in water.. We discovered that if the shower head was pointed towards the back wall then that seemed to prevent a lot of water from getting on to the bathroom floor.. A simple plastic extension to the shower screen wall at the bottom would probably prevent this issue in the future.. Just a thought..

I stayed here with my husband and daughter and they both mentioned how well I did choosing such a great hotel room for our needs. We stayed during a quiet period so it was even better because we didn't have to share the parking lot with anyone. We enjoyed a lovely evening out and was greeted with wonderful silence when we returned home. We hope to be back to visit again soon. Thank you.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Absolutely beautiful and spacious room - we had a family. The owners were lovely and the very accommodating. Super comfy beds, great toiletries and enough there for a lovely overnight stay. Great water pressure in showers and heaps of space in bedroom, living and bathroom.

The only complaint for both rooms that we had booked was the very low toilet, and they both had seats that moved
