Availability of quality & priced meals 5 m from door of pub (drinks as well) being able to wash & dry laundry, as due to "tram works" lovely Asian business that we have used for at least 10 years,now closed.All Staff great to deal with.nothing was a trouble.....everything so neat & tidy,Despite being right on GC Hwy,noise wasn't that bad,occasional hoon ,but not too bad.Patrons of venue were varied in ages,but everyone very kind & thoughtful,willing to help myself...old & challenged,very much appreciated....hopefully...we are able to return ,next year.

nil...My husband would have walked all around the vicinity as he walks daily & has done so for last 15 years. Parking would be a problem .if that 1 disabled spot on site was filled....this is NOW A WORLDWIDE problem...Powers that be not recognising there are some people that are unable to do all things. Gold Coast Council..take note....

Went to Cooly Rocks festival everyday. Close to tram. Plenty of beds Able to leave my vehicle locked up under cover. Hotel bar staff very friendly. Good area to make coffee No notices to say I couldn't,t make sandwiches to take out each day Great Hot water in shower. Close to beach 24degs Close to casino. Very quiet.

Didn't,t need to use tv.Just needed a bed and security.Did miss a toaster however.Could put up with traffic noise as it was my alarm clock in the morning.I,m looking hard but had to hold the seat up by hand.Great place thanks a lot.

The location was good close to the beach and can walk there anytime even at night. Also walking distance to Paradise shopping centre. The bathroom was clean. It is good value for money but nothing fancy.

The staff who initially checked us in was bit awkward. She gave us the keys without giving us any directions or anything. There was also the caretaker who got drunk at 1am and was so loud we could not sleep. It also has a pub so the noise at night on weekends is terrible. The manager was pleasant though and friendly. The manager helped us with the issue with aircon and ended up getting 1night stay discount.

This was the 2nd time we had stayed at the Darcy, since the pandemic in Jan 2020 kicked off, ironically we were in exactly the same room almost 3 years later.... Location is about a 10min walk to the main hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise, which makes for a quieter sleep, yet great access. There is a tram if you prefer not to walk. The hotel complex includes an irish bar\pub with plenty of outdoor seating and a real pub \ nice feel to it allong with the beautiful pool and spa combo. Plenty of great dinner deals right there at your doorstep. one of our favs i think. This time we had a car, and there is a HUGE underground carpark for the guests, so parking on the gold coast will not be a problem if you have a car.

The fridge was starting to show its age (rust marks coming through the white paint) and the bathroom door handle needed some attention, missing screws etc. but just minor TLC type things. the A/C worked VERY well and nothing i would call a show stopper....

good clean rooms , it’s basic accomodation but everything you need , kettle , clean bathroom,tv and it was cold so the fan heater warmed the room quickly. The Irish pub is great , our trip was in winter so the fire was on which added to the ambience. staff were good and friendly . the location is awesome , 5 minute walk to the tram , 5 minute walk to the nearby surf club.

it does tend to get a bit noisy on a Friday and Saturday night , but that’s to be expected , you are staying at a pub. my advice - stay at the bar until late and you won’t notice the noise.

Good accommodation, clean, friendly staff. Rooms are air conditioned and have showers, a fridge and kettle, location so close to everything in surfers. Doesn't cost much and doesn't have security deposit, pretty much everything you need especially if you're just looking for a place to sleep after going out and doing stuff in the city during the day. Rooms are decorated well and modern, plus the restaurant downstairs is very convenient and they let you bring the food to your room, would definitely stay again!! P.s. Relieved as rooms looked identical to photos!

The bathrooms could use a bit of an update but definitely not a turn off in there current state, very clean and all appliances working well.

On arrival the receptionist was lovely , came down to carpark, helped me w my bags. The Irish pub attached was great, ate there twice. Live music Sat. Night again Sunday till 7pm, was a real hoot. Local favourite, we were all singing w guitarist. Was there for music festival, rain ruined a lot of that but fun at D'Arcy Arms. It is 5 min walk to tram stn. I was able to sleep, bed comfortable , even thought on busy road the pub is a noise buffer to rooms. I loved the atmosphere, older but clean, nicer than lots of glass and steel. Was value for money.

The place was so good for the price, good location, so comfortable and not loud to sleep in. Kept clean, towels were changed everyday, lovely environment, spacious, table outside to sit at. Close to get to surfers paradise and burleigh heads via tram and bus.

There was dust in some places and stains on the wall. Dishwashing liquid so we could clean our cups

It was so close to everything, we will be staying there again in the future. The room was clean and tidy, all amenities were good. bed was comfortable and the shower in the morning was nice and hot.

Nothing, I think everything was great, better than we expected and like I said previously, we will definitely stay there again. Staff were great and very friendly to approach.

Did not eat at Hotel this time. Booking in again mid-August. Please book 2 for dinner at 18.00 hrs sitting Friday 11/08.

Have Take away coffee cups available. Buy 5 get 1 free. Boost coffee sales significantly. Do you have a News Letter or Website for Events? Frequent event for 'Singles?' Back for my 84 th in mid Sept.
