Mantra Sierra Grand

Mostly nicely maintained. It was handy having the family staying in the same apartments, although annoying to visit them by them having to go down stairs to bring you back up. The Christmas gift on Christmas Day was a nice thought.

The street noises, and definitely needed blockout curtains in the bedrooms. The frypan was unusable, very worn. We were in the car parking area B2 and signs needed as to where to exit the car parking area. Very confusing. Had issues with the wifi , had to three times go to reception as it kept dropping out .

The view from the room was exceptional and we had the opportunity to watch the Christmas night lightning storm which had approximately 250,000 lightening strikes in and around the gold coast. This natural show was like something we have never encountered before but will live with us as a bucket list memory. We arrived late at night and the night porter assisted our quick sign in and was more than helpful to two weary travelers. A nice touch by the resort was a Christmas gift from the Mantra elf, well dome and much appreciated.

Loved the outlook of our apartment, (506) looking straight out towards ocean from lounge, balcony and the main bedroom. Peaceful! Relaxing! Convenient to beach, shops and cafes. We had a lovely view, the rooms were spacious. Thank you to hotel for setting up rooms as requested. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The complex was clean with lovely facilities. Apartment was clean, and had with all those little things that make it comfortable. ( eg blow dryer)

A couple of small things were damaged on arrival but it didn't affect our stay in any way. (Cupboard handle in kitchen and the water cap on the iron). It would be ideal to have the ability to have a 3rd fob for the lifts. As a family with adult children we only had 2 keys and fobs which was tricky ( I know that's this is standard) but you needed the fob to get to all the facilities. So we had to coordinate who's coming going etc, and people downstairs so others can get upstairs, or into the gym etc. As I said, the ideal would have been to be able to have a 3rd fob for flexibility. Especially to use the pool, gym others areas without all having to come and go at the same time.

The location and spaciousness of the room. There was also allocated parking space which was convenient. We were given a little earlier check in and a later check out which was very helpful.

There was not shower gel in the second bathroom, only one roll of toilet paper for a 3 bedroom residence, there was a small leak with the plumbing in the ensuite and so the tissues underneath the sink were not usable as they were wet. There was not enough towels for all occupants which meant we had to go to reception to get these. There was a little rubbish left in the room from prior guests that we placed in the bin.

The location is excellent. Easy walk to the beach, casino, Pacific fair, The Oasis shopping centre, the park and a selection of restaurants along the main road. The 3 bedroom apartment is very spacious. The beds were comfortable. The 2 car spaces were handy, there were visitor car parks.

The only negative is to do with the cleaners and even perhaps the previous guests. There was a half bottle of Powerade and a half bottle of milk left in the fridge. When we went to use the plates and bowls for dinner, we found 2 of the plates dirty. As in it looked like it had been put through the dishwasher but it left the food around the bowl.

Great place to stay walk to everything dont need a car you have tram that can take you to surfers paradise if you want to go there Shopping Centre 5 mins walking and Restaurants walking distance beach only 150 metres away would highly recommend .

The cooking pots and frypans need to be replaced very old there was a a good 2 inch step from carpet to bathrooms which we found after kicking into it with our toes we just put towel over the step , we did report to reception .

The staff were SOO lovely! Some of the best staff I’ve ever come across when checking in / checking out of somewhere! They were so happy, helpful and friendly! And the location couldn’t have been any better! GREAT value for money!

The extremely slow elevators and the residents being very quick to complain on the smallest amount of noise! We got “in trouble” from one lady resident because me and 2 friends were laughing while waiting for the elevator!

Two bedrooms were clean and spacious, had most things we wanted, were close to Pacific Fair Shops within walking distance, and service was good. Close to many restaurants and tram stop. A complimentary car park was available upon booking the hotel—plenty of parking and easy access to the cars underground. I love their kitchenette and laundry. I love how they offer soaps, bathroom necessities in both bathrooms. I didn’t have to bring my own.

across the road had construction site and at all-night hours, you could hear all the work. It was hard getting a decent sleep. Wifi would been good if it was offered at check-in.

The location is fantastic, with the beach a short walk down the road, packed with fair across the road and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The apartment was spacious and the staff were lovely

The beds were way too soft, and there was only nescafe sachets for coffee. I would have rathered they even just left a $10 coffee plunger in the cupboard so we could make coffee in the apartment. But on the whole, there was not much not to like

We had late arrival and the lady on the intercom was telling me she couldn’t find my booking, then the fob in the carpark and lift wasn’t working and they had to send someone down to help us. It took about 30-40mins for us to check in, pretty annoying
