Palmerston Tower

Great accommodation on a budget. Rooms are very dated, but also very spacious. Don't book here if you are looking for something to compare to the luxury 4-5 star hotels in the middle of Surfers Paradise, but if you are happy with a bed to sleep in, space to move in, a pool and spa, this will easily do the job. Right across the road from the lovely Broadwater parklands which has great playgrounds for kids.

Nothing - Everything I experienced was in line with expectations to the price I paid for this apartment. Facilities are a little dated, but not a deal breaker.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great views from modern, updated unit. Good easy to access parking. Great to have WiFi, Netflix, Stan, YouTube, etc.

There was a TV in lounge and 2nd bedroom but not in main bedroom. It's not that I didn't like it I just found it unusual.

Our apartment was wonderful. A lot bigger than I expected it to be. Spacious, clean, tidy and the most amazing views from the balcony as well as the bedroom balcony! The apartment was modern and fresh, I absolutely loved the flooring in the bedrooms and bathrooms! There was everything we needed for 9 days. A 10 minute walk to the trams, buses and shopping centre. Communication with Ganny prior to our stay was great. A suggestion- We arrived after hours and received our keys in the lockbox, but we couldn't work out how to get into the building. Perhaps some information on the paper we received with the keys would be great. Another resident arrived and showed us how to get in. The pool and hot tub were ideal to cool down in the evenings and were clean and tidy. Vending machine on the ground floor came in handy for some cold drinks and snacks! Would happily stay again.

super friendly & helpful managers. Lovely clean apartment with great views over the Broadwater & parklands. Easy 10 minute walk to the main shopping centre & Chinatown.

Traffic noise is constant

The apartment was spacious and really lovely especially with the sea view. Shops were a walking distance which was great also.

Easy to find location. I didn't meet the staff as I arrived late and left early. Close to the hospital my brother had been admitted to for heart surgery, so I was very glad it was available at very short notice. Excellent view. Very comfy lounges.

Wardrobe door was a bit dodgy, didn't slide properly. Needs new runners. It is a bit aged, but

Views were spectacular, it was good having two bathrooms The staff were very helpful and friendly

Refrigerator badly needed defrosting, bedroom door didn't open, air conditioner was very dirty (only used once.) Reed Diffuser on cupboard looked like it had been there for years no smell and oil look cloudy.

Great location, great rates, friendly hosts, good house-keeping, great heated pool, lots of activities to choose from, secured entry with secured basement parking, shopping trolleys at the basement to help with packing and unpacking!

We were advised that the 2-bed apartment we were in didn't have a/c but being on Level 7 and SE/Southern corner meant we weren't hot at all during our summer stay and the breeze was lovely! Carpeted hallways from lift door to apartment door meant sometimes stinky smells due to (I'm assuming) leaked garbage bags but always deodorised when house-keeping came.

Loved the ocean view every morning.

Very disappointed not providing enough bathroom essentials soaps etc with is staying 3 nights lucky we bring our own and spare toilet paper and there none in fridge to make some coffee had to get milks and our own coffee but we end up getting coffee at the local cafes.
