Ocean Sands Resort

Loved the view! In a really nice area and a great resort. Loved the pools both in and out. Great spacious rooms for families.

One minor thing needed some more shade by the pool I noticed a lot of people come down and there's no shade so they leave. And lastly toilet nessicities and towels need to be freshened a bit more often on a longer stay and also put of no fault of the resort -- very bad construction across road woke me at 5 everyday. Tried to earplugs and was still noisy.

I really enjoyed the large size of the apartment and the amneties the resort provided. Sustainable ammount of living needs was supplied in the apartment, eg: extra bedding, utensils, heating, crockery, lights, cutlery, vacuum, laundry etc.. Nice cosy feel to the resort and loved the indoor pool and spa. Staff were very helpful, friendly and accomodating!

Would have loved lighting to light up the tennis court at night. Would have used it much more as I was out mostly through the day. That is all though.

Great location, 2 min walk to Tedder Ave shops and 5 min walk to beach. Apartment was beautiful. Great view. Nicely renovated 3 bedrooms, very spacious. Plenty of room for family of 5-6. Kitchen had everything and they even provided basic condiments. Would definitely stay again.

Outside pool was freezing. It needs heating. Inside pool was nice but needs updating. Pool floor was quite rough on feet in spots.

We were very happy with Ocean Sands' facilities and location. It was close to shops and restaurants and also fairly close to the beach. The lady from reception was very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again, but in a better maintained apartment.

Aprtmnt 31 is obviously privately owned & requires a bit of money spent on maintenance. It has a dripping tap & water leaking into the vanity cupboard & a new soap holder & towel rail are needed in the ensuite. Water is also leaking into the main bathroom's vanity. Inside the kitchen cupboards need a clean out and under the lounge cushions needs vaccuming (old chips under the cushions). Also, the white pedestal fan isn't working.

Wonderful location, close to the restaurant, bakery and shops. It is close to the tram station and bus as well. The accommodation was great very clean, good spaces in the apartment. The swimming pool and spa was very nice. The staff was very kind and it was always someone available after hours.

Good sized rooms, clean, comfortable, and well laid out. Pool facilities were good, gym better than lots and gardens well maintained. Hotel was close to beach and shops and restaurants on Tedder Ave. All-up, good place to stay.

Nothing to dislike, really. Spa and one lift were out of order, but that's just the luck of the draw.

Apartment was very spacious and comfortable for a larger family. It was extremely well appointed with quality cookware, appliances, furniture and even a water filter!

The beds were the only disappointment. They were extremely soft which if your aren't used to makes a goodnight sleep difficult and is terrible for anyone with back issues.

This was the biggest and best equipped apartment we have ever stayed in. The indoor heated pool was a great size and essential for the winter months. Very close to local shops with great coffee.

Just missing a wine topper for my sparkling wine.

Great location, family friendly, loads of space and nice big rooms. Good facilities and amenities. Good value for money

The only let down for me was the cleanliness of the rooms itself. They need a very good deep clean to be back up to standard.

Everything about the accommodation was perfect. The room was spacious and the view was amazing. You are very close to everything and the resort itself offers a great pool, gym, tennis courts and bbq area.
