SandCastles Noosa

We had a wonderful stay, the gentleman at the desk was really lovely, the pool is perfect as is the location. I liked that it was down the far end of Hastings Street and the trees offered the pool privacy.

There's a coffee pod machine there so a couple of coffee pods would have been nice. One night there was a family with small kids, and because of the boutique nature of the building they were loud & sound carried, but after they left it was lovely and quiet. I found the bed hard, but that's a personal preference.

The hosts greeted us with a wealth of valuable information. Room was just as expected - comfortable, clean and modern with a leafy outlook. Ground level parking was very convenient. Hastings street location allows you to readily slip into the Noosa vibe.

Plenty of light in the apartment but the sun never touches the verandah, making the use of the provided driers necessary. Mid winter sun does not reach the heated pool due to adjacent tree cover.

Location was great! Right in Hastings Street where you can just stroll to your favourite cafe or restaurant. Our room was really well set up and couches were super comfy! And the outlook over the gardens from our room was beautiful and so relaxing. The pool was fabulous too.

Wasn't really anything we didn't like... would only suggest some more bathroom products, some bathroom gel or something would be great. We were there for five days and the two little bars of soap weren't really enough... but it wasn't really that much if an issue.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable for a couple. The loft 2nd bedroom is not suitable for young children.

The climb with suitcases from the carpark is definitely only for the young. Although the complex is three levels, the first level is a climb from the carpark, making it four levels to the top. Being in our seventies, the climb to our top level apartment was a workout. Also, there is no view of the beach from this complex.

We love it. It is Super Close to the beach and the main street. Could be a little noice at night when the restaurants near by are clearing the rubbish bins and the Lorys in the morning, but overall I recommended 100%

Great location at the top of Hastings St. 2 pools with a large main pool and a smaller, shallower pool which was fantastic for toddlers. Also a spa to the side of the pool which was great. Direct access to beach side was handy.

Lots of stairs and no elevator, something to be mindful of if you have young kids or elderly parents coming along. We also had a room next to the park and unfortunately lots of noise came in from the street and car park. Otherwise great spot.

Location, pools, right on hasting st but down the quiet end. The two bedroom apartment with Park view that we stayed in was awesome. Great size and very family friendly. The pools were great for families and the little toddler pool was just perfect. The temp of the pools were good to. The beach is right at the back door and very easy to get to. The beach is made for families and suits young families especially. Highly recommend staying here

There was nothing we didn't like

Fabulous location right next to the beach but at the quieter end of Hastings Street. Pool area was spotlessly clean. The managers were also incredibly helpful and friendly in my booking experience. Highly recommend for a couple or small family looking for a more affordable (and quieter) Noosa beachside experience.

The bedding was a little odd. Never stayed anywhere where the bed only has a bottom and top sheet. While there were plenty of blankets available, it just felt unusual. However it didn't impact our overall experience, which was wonderful.

The location was close to the main beach at Noosa with private views of the beach. Sandcastles had easy accessibility for our family to move freely from beach to pool which was a big plus. Cooking facilities were modern and loft apartment suits a family who wants to have a combination of dining out in Hasting Street or relax and unwind and prepare your own home cooked meals.

Undercover parking was tight. The location was so fantastic that we really didn’t need to bother moving the car once we parked.

Lovely position on the beach, walked to all restaurants and shops. Lovely heated pool too. Bed was super comfortable.

Only issue I had was the noise from the apartment above. I think young children who woke early and galloped up and down at 5.30am and dragged chairs across floors etc. Of course I’m a mum too so understand the challenges and I’m sure the parents were unaware of how the noise reverberated. Perhaps I should have spoken to reception. In future I’d ensure I book on the upper level. But I’ll be back for sure. Liz
