Melaleuca Resort

Great spot about in the middle of all restaurants. Right across road from on brach. Our room had a balcony which had a great view of sea. Room was a bit dated but comfortable. Facilities good full cooktop if you wanted to cook for yourself. We didn’t as there were so many lovely restaurants on doorstep. Undercover parking which was great. Managers on site and were very helpful. Aircon efficient. Pool and pool area lovely. Would definitely stay again. Bed comfortable although only double.

Bed could have been bigger but apart from that everything great.

This is a great place. Rooms extremely well equipped and clean, gardens wonderful, staff pleasant and helpful above and beyond requirements. Most rooms have a sea view, and good size balcony to enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap while enjoying the sight and sound of the ocean . It's within easy walking distance of the lifeguarded swimming area and all the good bars and restaurants, and also has a very nice onsite pool.

I'm not easily pleased but am happy to say there's nothing I didn't like about this place!

Located near the middle of Williams Esplanade, the beachfront road. Getting to shops and restaurants from the complex was never more than a 6 minute walk. The pool and beach view was a nice aspect from the apartment. Hearing the waves break on the beach lulled me off to sleep each night. Complex is quiet with mostly couples occupying. We stayed a week and really enjoyed the relaxing lifestyle.

Pillows were a bit thin.

Central location, spacious apartment away from the street but still with stunning outlook through property gardens and to the ocean. Property staff so helpful and welcoming and provided wonderful explanation of local area and insights. Comfortable bed, great shower and full facilities to make our stay enjoyable. Fantastic value for money.

Fly screen was not lockable so had to sleep with glass door locked otherwise property unfaultable for the price.

The location was perfect, not far from Cairns or Port Douglas, places to eat and coffee shops. The view from the room was spectacular and relaxing on the comfortable chairs on the balcony while looking at the water was ideal. The apartment was clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed, including washing machine, dryer, decent size fridge and adequate cooking facilities and utensils. Car park was close to apartment and secure. The managers were very friendly and helpful in the lead up to our stay.

Location is great!! One can just stroll outside at any time and there are so many eating options as well. Also this location is central to both cairns and going further up! Would highly recommend! The hosts are also very friendly and welcoming.

If there is an option for daily cleaning service! Otherwise everything was awesome!

The view out the front across the pool to the ocean was beautiful. The bedroom had a lovely big window with views over the lush vegetation out to the mountains. Everything was very clean and very functional. Felt very safe. The price was great

The unit was straight out of the 80's but was not a problem at all for us but others might want something more modern.

The staff were amazing, we had arrived early and they had shuffled us around to let us in our room early. The location was ideal right in the middle of the esplanade. Loved the lagoon style pool we read most days next to it on the comfortable furniture.

Location was ideal. Based centrally to either end of Palm Cove. Loved the pool area. Very tropical. Lots of room. Our room was spotlessly clean! Margaret and Stephen were lovely. Very helpful when we needed them.

Nothing to dislike at all.

The Resort is in a very central position, walking distance to everything and the beach just across the road. Upon arrival Margaret made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Morning coffees sitting on the patio looking across at the beach and going for morning walks along the beach we’re magical and very relaxing…

We didn’t find the pool area very inviting. It needed to be clean, but in saying that, with all the paperbark trees around, I can image that it would be a never ending job of cleaning the pool. The only item I did miss in the kitchen was a stubby holder…😁
