Quest Mawson Lakes

Location is good for access to vineyards and the villages scattered north of Adelaide. Mawson Lakes is a nice suburb with a Cafe precinct beside the man made lake, great food at the pub, Woolies, Aldies etc. The room was plenty large enough for the 5 nights we stayed. Kitchenette, laundry, comfy bed. All good. Gated parking (limited) is nice.

There really wasn't anything that comes to mind, other than a couple of power points didn't work. There were plenty around that did though.

Great location next to the University and situated with a bus stop directly in front of hotel, which travels to Adelaide City (markets) by bus, but also a train station a ten minute walk away. Great boba place downstairs too.

Would have been lovely to have the attached restaurant open on Sunday morning for breakfast. But no other issues with hotel or staff or services. Possibly some onsite parking at back of hotel made possible. Although, there was an option for off street parking at a price with a two minute walk.

We had an exceptional stay. Awesome staff! Very clean. Secure car parking for a fair price Proximity to Modbury Hospital and Mawson Lakes dining precinct was very important.

When I booked, I didn’t realised that I needed to also book my car for the hotel secure carpark. I was travelling with my elderly mother and walking distances are an issue. Micheal from Quest Mawson Lakes was extremely helpful and got this sorted out for me. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Made the stay more relaxing. Thank you.

During our stay Adelaide had extremely cold weather. The room air conditioning wouldn’t heat during the day although at night it wasn’t an issue.

Convenient location. Walking distance to shops, cafe/restaurants and Mawson Lakes (but no lake view). Reception and cleaning staff were outstanding, caring, helpful and friendly - 10/10. The size of King Room was as expected (not cramped at all) and was modern and clean. Cleaner told me they had recently updated furniture. Free laundry facilities which we used. Would stay here again for the convenience to our family, but wished it had a lakes view!

Road noise from highway and main road. Definitely heard if window/s open. Could still hear with them shut, but not when TV on. Husband thought bed was hard but I didn't. Secure parking was additional $15 per night and is limited, so book early. Street parking is often full and is time limited. It is on a busy main road.

Room was a great size and had nice views. The kitchen was perfect, had everything we needed and meant we could invite family around for dinner which was a bonus. Bed was super comfy. Heating worked perfectly. Cleaning was great, timing of room cleaning never interfered with our plans.

Went nuts trying to mirror from laptop and/or phone to smart tv, gave up after numerous attempts. It would have been nice to show family photos on the big screen. Not a negative, but worth noting, it´s important to sign out of personal Netflix account prior to leaving.

The overall experience was great. Friendly staff and neat rooms. Location was great with a supermarket around the corner and the train station only a short walk. Lots of restaurants and take away nearby.

The bathroom could use a deep clean once a week. There was mould on the grout in the shower, and the toilet seat was a little loose. The carpets could also benefit from a carpet shampoo once a month just to keep up the overall cleanliness.

The staff were very friendly and happy to help. Our room was such good value for money. Will definitely be staying again and recommending to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The tiles in the living area were a little sticky and the dryer had someone else's clothes in it but the reception staff apologised about it with nil issues caused.

Although there were 2 hot plates and a microwave, there weren't any pots/pans, mixing bowls or microwave safe dishes. There were knives, mashers, whisks and egg flips though. Microwave on high shelf and crockery on higher shelf. Not suitable for those of us vertically challenged unless you want to stand on a chair.

Sound travelled very easily. People talking and laughing loudly a room or two away until after midnight was annoying and a person who spent half an hour at 6am persistently knocking at someone's door nearby was not conducive to sleeping soundly.
