Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Flinders Street

The Malthouse loft apartments are stunning. Great location. Staff were very friendly.

It was very noisy down the laneway. Garbage trucks at early hours of the morning and music from adjacent bars till very late - 1am. Would definitely recommend packing ear plugs

Great location. Just 5-min walk to the Flinders Street Station. If you don’t want to walk, you can always hop on the nearby light rail which is just one-stop away from the main station. From there, you can get always anywhere within the Free Tram Zone- to shop, sight see, enjoy arts and culture in Melbourne. Overlooking the Yarra River and the Botanic Garden, we were able to enjoy great views of sunset over the harbour, and sunrise over the stadium and Yarra River. Simply love the artsy, chic and contemporary interior decor too. I must say that it had great sound-proofing as you hardly hear the rumble of the trains going to and fro once you close the sliding doors. There is a supermarket just downstairs, which is so convenient to get your essentials and groceries.

Despite the modern feel, the cooker in the kitchen was pretty old-fashioned. It took a long time to heat up. We were only able to use only one cooker, effectively to cook our meals during our stay.

Location was great, convenient and within walking distance (2mins - 30mins) to all the main streets we went and handy to free tram zone (e.g. Collins st, little Collins, flinders lane, docklands, dfo, spencer st etc). Staff were friendly and welcoming, and not just on arrival (staff wished us a good day on leaving and said hello when arriving back). It was a good sized apartment with plenty of space (which I loved) and a washing machine (which is why I picked it). We had a balcony, and also got clean towels everyday which was a bonus.

View wasn't the greatest (buildings were a stones throw, we kept curtains in the bedroom closed, especially when changing or at night as it looked like a business office right outside). The local rubbish truck made a hell of a racket at 4:30/5am in the morning collecting bottles etc. Asked for a bath mat (shower over bath) at the start which was supposed to be brought up to us but never got, but none of this was a major and we would stay there again.

Location is perfect. We had two concerts, MCG and Rod Laver and they were just a short walk down the road. Federation Square was also across the road. And a tram again across the road lol to go down to DFO, although we walked as we love to look around. Next door to the hotel is an IGA. We stayed in 3 bedroom Penthouse. It was amazing, so big and 2 balcony’s. It was such a great layout too as one of the bedrooms was seperate to the other two, in another wing I guess. Huge lounge, dining and kitchen area. Amazing views of the city and MCG and tennis precinct. Second time staying there and will be back again.

Bit noisy in the bedrooms. From the lounge we couldn’t hear the trains and general noise but the bedrooms we could. One night every siren went off in Melbourne!

Room was great, beds very comfortable, bathrooms good. Tram stops very close as is the train station. There is also a park with a children’s playground very close by… 7 to 10 mins walk. Restaurants and pubs all within walking distance.We will definitely stay here again hopefully longer next time. Staff lovely and very helpful from cleaners to receptionists.

The dishwasher compartment for putting powder/ tablets in was broken and wouldn’t stay closed, the numbers for temperature and timer etc on oven had all been scrubbed off so was hard to work these out. Forgot to mention these to reception. The pillows could be softer luckily I brought my own

We travelled 4 hours from home to spend a night in Melbourne. We were going to Rod laver Arena to see a concert, so it was a very short stay. We hoped that we had chosen an apartment not too far from the venue. Upon arrival, we realised we were much closer to the venue than we thought we were. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean and tidy, very spacious, and extremely comfortable. Checking in was a breeze, easy to find parking, and our room. Staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The location was more than perfect with an IGA supermarket right next door, cafes, and restaurants all around, and a bottle shop on the same corner. All in all, it's the perfect location, everything you need at your door stop. Would definitely recommend these apartments to everyone and will definitely stay there again. Nothing to not like.

Amazing space. Rooms are very big and quite comfortable for the family. Living area furnishings are high quality and feel timeless. The main bed and pull out couch were both high quality. The apartment has all things needed to an affordable high quality stay. Staff was wonderful and helped when I booked the wrong room online, befitting a small child.

some of the finishes and the bathroom are a bit dated and could use a refresh. Balcony not really set up for the guests in a welcoming way, but its huge and could be a fun place to hang out. Although central, the road in front is quite busy and can be a bit difficult with kids.. But I would stay again.

The room met our expectations. The room was clean and spacious, and the location was extremely convenient and everything was either a walk or even a Tram away. Not to mention, Adina is located in the Free Tram zone. The room had all the amenities required.

Our toilet was clogged and when we advised reception, he advised me that we clogged it and that there were no staff to fix it during that weekend. I advised him that it was our first time using the bathroom so I highly doubt it was because we clogged it ourselves. After that, the receptionist stated that he would open the second bathroom.

We wanted to be close in the city but also close to the MCG and John Caine Arena...this was the perfect location. Trams were easy to access, easy to get to Queen Victoria Markets and the Casino as well. We had a lovely view of the river and Flinders Station which was lit up of a night

Loung and chairs in the lounge room looked lovely but were really hard and uncomfortable. Not a huge issue as we were usually out all day and then home to go to bed but for anyone that was going to be in watching tv for some of their holiday it wouldn't be great

The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is convenient and still quiet . A grocery is next to the hotel which is very easy to fill up the things we need. We can buy fresh pastries for our breakfast.

It is easily to get wrong Wilson parking in Malthouse Lane as the Wilson parking is very small to see while another larger Wilson parking is just next to it. We parked the wrong car park and need to pay to exit. The curtain blinds in the bedrooms can be darker but it isn’t much bother. Overall, we are very satisfied with the stay. Just a little note to traveller, please be carefully with address which one you booked. There are few Adina around and we went to the wrong one and to be re-route😅
