Fantastic location for a stay in Melbourne. We booked for 5 nights over the Aus GP weekend. Was a great base for the weekend. We had a Family room which had 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. We utilised the kitchen and laundry facilities on offer which was a great money saver. Opted for a parking spot for an additional $10 per night. Beds were super comfortable- bathrooms clean and spacious with great water pressure. Conveniently Located right near the train station and most of Brighton’s restaurants.
Property is located very close to the train station and there is obvious noise. This was not a issue for us though I can imagine it would be for some. The Half Moon bar downstairs also gets very noisy on the weekend.

Very close to the main shopping strip at Middle Brighton. Train Station only 200 meters away. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance and loads of clothes stores for a bit of 'retail therapy'. Room was well appointed and had a large balcony. Kitchenette was equipped with everything you needed to cook a meal if you didn't want to eat out. Large king sized bed which was extremely comfortable. Shower recess was large and water pressure great! We would definitely return!
Although the room was neat and tidy it was getting close to a refresh. There was a few minor things such as, the blind would not stay all the way up, the carpet was marked and getting old, there were several marks on walls and the glass door to the shower would not stay fully closed. Nothing that impacted our stay.

The location was excellent for us as we had a funeral in the area. We were upgraded so having a larger room after a long drive and for a 3 day stay was perfect. There was a supermarket within walking distance and many great stores including the best sushi we have ever had. Parking was secure and reserved. The bed was comfortable enough but would be improved with a topper for added softness. The kitchen was amazing and the apartment was tastefully furnished.
As mentioned I would have preferred a more cosy bed. There wasn't anything else we didn't like.

my room faced west and even on a winters day that hardly got to 12 degrees and the dark inside blinds were down - because it was sunny the room was very very hot when I arrived. Even opening the door had little effect. I had to turn aircon on! For someone not used to trains, the noise of the line below the room was a bit of a shock - but I survived after the first night with earplugs. I’d prefer to have a hand held shower option. in summer I would ask for east facing room. I didn’t much care for the mobile phone tower outside the room!

loved the friendly staff on Friday and Saturday! the properly is perfectly clean and great for a solo traveller.
I was allocated a room which was different to that in the photos with a tiny unusable balcony. compared to all my other friends who were staying at the same time my room was definitely the least fab. The worst thing about the entire stay was the reception not being open on Sunday and therefore I had nowhere to store my luggage before going to the airport which I would have thought is a fairly common thing most hotels offer.

It was modern, clean, spacious, secure, we’re given designated parking space in underground carpark ($10 per day). We had a washing machine & tumble dryer in our studio apartment and a dishwasher drawer, although we did not use that. It was just around the corner from the Church St, Brighton, shopping precinct and about 600m walk to the colourful Brighton beach boxes and beach. It is also a short walk to the train line into the city centre.
Our first car park was small and difficult for a SUV to turn in to. However, reception staff were able to allocate an alternative car space to us and that was fine.

I had a studio apartment and was very pleased with how spacious and clean it was. The balcony with fashionable and sturdy table and two chairs was a pleasant enjoyment.
The apartment could have had one or two lounge/sitting chairs. There was a desk chair and outdoor two person table setting but no chair/s to relax into. An apartment compendium mentioned in the welcome letter was not available and could have provided some useful information.

Mid Brighton great location - never went anywhere near the CBD though that would have been easy with the train line at the door (Brighton Beach to CBD so frequent service) , - all 3 of my days were spent cycling (even as a 72 year old) and the endless Bay Bike Path with seamless quick links to other long bike paths such as the Yarra River Trail was minutes away through quiet residential streets - loudest noise heard even at night was the occasional reversing Woolworths trucks docking bay at the all night Woolworths perfectly located a mere 2 minute walk from the door. The nearby shopping strips of the various Brightons have a wide range of trendy restaurants - but if you haven't a Porsche or Audi SUV walk - my only two neighbours in the carpark were a Bentley SUV and Audi SUV , that's $600k+worth of MV , but can they carry a couple of pigs or calves in the back as my $18k thing can ? Also great location for easy and quick straight line access to the deepest parts of Mornington Peninsular - no need to let Google et al know where you are going. The room : great two bedrooms,two bathrooms, full laundry , living room well proportion though for two bedrooms , suggesting at least 3 people the two seater sofa was inadequate . Very good range of kitchen utensils meaning they fitted my cooking style , no need to go out and buy additional utensils as is often the case . Took 2 evenings to work out how the TV and its remote worked , but even then Free To Air TV was continually interrupted by various warnings such as " you have 4 minutes to ....." after which it took several minutes to re-find your programme and fast forward to the interruption point during which process these warnings would re-appear several a times.
This more a surprise than a dislike but only one lift to access all the apartments and if I was a permanent resident i'd get a tad frustrated as the lift is small- just 2 adults, 2 small children is a squeeze -and several apartments checking out at the same time between 8am and 10am could kill the lift.

Paying for parking and grumpy neighbours. The hallway becomes noisy at times especially at the elevator entrance which is disturbing to neighbouring rooms. More plates & cutlery required. A family of 4 requires more than 4 plates & 4 sets if cutlery for a 1 weeks stay. It was a struggle to serve and eat meals with the limited equipment.

Location ideal for our particular requirements. Surrounding area ideal for eating out . train close very handy too.
Some confusion with after hours arrival arrangements and text messages from reception which we responded to but which ( unknown to us ) can not be received by your people. At least that was the story we received later. Not a big gripe but I suspect a lot of flights would arrive too late for a 7.30pm check in . The entry code and lock box arrangements had been explained and for future visits we would have no problem.
