Discovery Parks - Melbourne

The location is great as we went to a different activity everyday, beach was close, the vic market, the fun field's and Werribee zoo all under an hour. Pub just down the road was great for kids huge playground and buffet meals. The Discovery Park was great as they have a fantastic pool for kids and the town house we stayed in was a big hit with the kids. We enjoyed our holiday from start to finish thank you Discovery Parks Victoria (Braybrook).

The mattresses on the bunk beds were very springy so the girls were finding it hard to get comfortable. But if you just put a mattress topper on them they would be fine, as we used a blanket and doubled it over.

This was perfect for a few of our families here for a special Wedding. They were very accommodating with large groups. Excellent communal kitchen bbq area for group lunches which included visitors. Loved our deluxe apartments and would highly recommend them to family and friends. Very close to supermarkets, malls , restaurants and cafes.

No public toilets close to communal kitchen by kids play ground, only ones by pool which are too far away. Especially if your unit is far away to get to quickly especially for any visitors. The toilets close by were key access only for those camping which is understandable. Maybe something similar to public mens and womans toilet by pool and other comunal area.

A couple things actually. I like how friendly and easy going the staff are and that they're very flexible with check-ins and outs. I love how even though you're literally 20 mins from the CBD of Melbourne, there's a beautiful country feeling about the place and every encounter I've had with people staying there have been so nice, makes me feel at home. I like how there's a different array of cabins and for their size, they're cozy, have everything I need for comfort; like new split systems and fans, and the showers have awesome pressure for what they are. Really affordable for someone by themselves going to Melbourne and want a simple cozy place to stay.

It would be nice to have the main double/queen bed doona to have a doona cover over it, I understand it'd be hard to keep up with washing but that's just one thing I'd say I didn't like.

Because family live nearby, we have regularly stayed at this beaut holiday park. We appreciate the friendly, helpful staff; easy access to public transport into the centre of Melbourne; clean comfortable cabins; beautiful tree-shaded sites, proximity to a well stocked Asian supermarket, and short drive to other supermarkets and the wonderful Footscray food scene

-No access to WiFi in my cabin, which I reported to office staff. I'll look forward to this being addressed in future stays. - I was disappointed to observe that there is no availability for recycling waste. The single yellow lidded recycling bin, near the pool, was plastic lined and contained mixed waste and lawn clippings.

Great location about 20 minutes from the city. Very clean park with updated rooms with plenty of space, lots of room around the cabin for extra privacy. Shops right next door and 2 minutes away heaps of options. We have a 3 1/2 year old boy who loved the indoor play centre next door and the big playground around the corner @ the community hub. We had an issue with the AC/heater which was fixed immediately. Very friendly and professional staff constantly maintaining all areas of the park. Large common areas for bbqs and indoor cooking facilities too. Looking forward to our next visit.

On site playground needs an upgrade but theres a great indoor play centre next door and a massive outdoor playground at the community hub on Churchill street. 2 minutes away in car about 10-15min walk

Loved the free upgrade that was a great surprise The staff was so friendly Kids loved the pool The bbq were so clean I felt bad cooking on them they were that clean lol Loved the fact it was close to the Melbourne show so we didn't have far to travel Our room was big enough for a family of 6 and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other Loved that they had the chair n tables out side the room Was so relaxing next time will prob book for 2 nights Will be staying here again if we go to things in Melbourne again

The "games" room bit out of date only had a ping pong table in their It didn't fit the rest of the park Knife in our room Wasn't sharp at all couldn't cut a tomatoe with it

Clean Beds, Towels and convieniently placed near restaurants, petrol stations and other amenities Upgraded to double bed cabin. Free parking right outside the cabin Clean kitchen items; pans, plates, cutlery etc Secured parking with toll facility at the entrace

Standard TV channels. No netflix of other entertainment channels to keep the kids occupied. Wi-fi did not work the whole time Bathroom light did not work so had to use the heater light at all times (worked okay becuase it was winter) Drainage stench as soon as you step out of the cabin

The quality of the rooms & the multiple room variation (type of room) is outstanding. The rooms I utilised were perfect, had plenty of lighting and were quiet for my needs. The park has plenty of ablutions although the washing machines are coin operated, the pool is clean and the Ashley Hotel is only a short walking distance away for a meal. Located near the city but also towards the freeway for easy get away North, South or West.

Firstly, I've stayed at the park multiple times as we enjoy what it offers (not the issue here). The turn into the park entrance when coming from Ballarat Road may cause an issue or two if the driver of a vehicle behind you isn't paying attention. You have to give way to oncoming traffic at a point where you are merging lanes yourself when approaching the turn. Certainly not the fault of the park.

Everything! I'm very true to my reviews on everywhere I stay as I'd like to help others make the choice to stay or not. Discovery Park Braybrook was exceptional, from letting us check-in more than a few hours early, to free upgrades, clean cabins, the property itself was well maintained by the garden maintenance team, my kids loved the pool, was clean and great to relax along side, they also loved Charlie the golden retriever that greeted us in the reception area, he was beautiful, great bbq area's, the staff were extremely nice and helpful, the beds were very comfortable and clean crisp sheet's to. As a domestic house cleaner I do tend to go on reviews of cleanliness, but here you won't be disappointed. They also accommodate for cooking equipment, pots, pans, chopping boards, to strainers, cutlery. It by far exceeded our expectations. We travelled via bus from Adelaide so we were tired and needed to relax before we started our holiday the park didn't hesitate to get us in at 8:45am. I'm so happy with our stay, we will be back with our family. Thanks guys and girls.. outstanding! 😀👍

There wasn't actually anything we didn't like.

The room we had (cabin 73) was an awesome little space, conveniently spaced to spend some time with a few of our friends briefly after a big day. The staff were so accommodating as we were unavailable for check-in at the right time so they made preparations for us to do a late check in instead. The location was perfect for our needs too.

Honestly, everything was fantastic, I can't fault it. The only thing that would be nicer is the price but willing to pay $230 for single night considering how good it was.
