Seashells Broome

Location was great. Pool area was fabulous. Well set out grounds. A lovely property and we really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Only issue we had was the shower in the bath. I had my 86 year old mother with me and she couldn’t get in to have a shower without help. The staff checked but there was only 1 room that didn’t have the shower in the bath but that was already taken. They made up a shower chair for us which helped me to get her in the shower and her to sit on while she showered. That was a huge help.

Very clean and well-maintained apartment. Comfy bed, spacious well-equipped kitchen with cooking utensils. Washing machine and dryer with laundry powder provided. Large shaded pool with a spacious kiddy pool - our 3 year old had a great time in the kiddy pool. Clean communal outdoor BBQ area. Beautiful reception area. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Can’t comment on the location as we hired a car and drove everywhere (would recommend anyone staying a few days in town to get a car especially if you have kids and don’t mind spending the extra money. Consider waiting at the bus stop in the sizzling heat for the shuttle bus which only comes every hour) but Cable beach seems to be about 10 mins walk and there are a few restaurants within 10 minute walk. Overall, we had a great time staying at Seashells Broome. Thank you, Seashells. We will be definitely be back!

Not a complaint, just want to mention the outdoor kids play equipment was in a bit of a dark shady corner where there seems to be a lot of mosquitoes so didn’t let our kid play there. Other than that, nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Seashells is a very comfortable and quiet property in walking distance to Cable Beach. It also has a lovely pool that is wonderful to come back to after a hot day exploring. We had a 1 bedroom upstairs apartment that was very large and had everything you'd need for an extended stay, including a well equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. It's also close to other resorts and restaurants which can be handy, especially if you don't have a car. The Broome bus is very good but it stops running in the early evening which makes it difficult to go into town for dinner.

A good location where you can go in and out of Cable Beach, which is famous for its sunset. It is a safe and quiet place. Nevertheless, I am grateful that the staff told me to thoroughly lock the door of the room when I checked in. I wondered why the lockdown was emphasized, but after my luggage was stolen from the second lodging in downtown Broome, I found out why. I put up a tent to shade the pool so I can enjoy a cool swim even on a hot day. There were many boap trees around, so it felt unique.

The towels are changed once a week. There is a washing machine in the room, so are we to wash and use it?

Great location - pool was fantastic and huge, great area for kids as well. Good sized kitchen and living room. Comfortable and we did a lot of cooking.

We had neighbours who were smoking on our last two days at the resort and this blew into our apartment which meant we couldn't sit on the balcony. They smoked constantly and I don't want to inhale smoke, and I don't want my child to either.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was comfortable, had a well equipped kitchen, excellent living room area with large sofas and ottoman. We enjoyed the added bonus of free movies for children to watch in the evening. We also thought the pool area was great. In general the resort was quiet and facilities were excellent.

Thudding of family in apartment above us. You could hear their footsteps constantly. So we would look to request a first floor apartment in any future stays.

This is a very well run resort. It knows its customers and is professionally run. The pool was heated which in July was great. After Seashells we went to another nearby resort with a huge pool which was unheated and few people used it. Excellent family resort, they also stocked some basic foods which was handy. The staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

There was not much I could fault. Maybe the rooms were a bit dark.

Our 3 bedroom bungalow met all the needs of our over 70 party of four. it was close to the beach, next door to the excellent Zookeepers ‘pop up’ restaurant, next to the bus stop, great pool, ideal if you chose to eat in and very quiet.

No real issues apart from limited room for toiletries in the second bathroom. This was negated by access to the third bedroom which was not used for sleeping.

our first room was extremely smelly due to flooding - we were moved the next day to a room in the same area as our friends so very happy with that resolution. The rooms were great- could use an oven as cooking was difficult but over all we loved our stay and thank you!

Ovens would be great. OUr initial room should not have been rented out due to the awful smell. but the resolution was fine so no complaints here. I just recomend the issue gets fixed properly.

I loved the neat clean look of my room, the colour palette was gorgeous. Everything was sparkling clean and we'll maintained and I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable, air cond and fans very effective and quiet for sleeping. Kitchen was well equipped and loved the addition of washing machine. Pool and gardens simply devine.

Absolutely nothing at all..... I'm a very satisfied happy customer.
