The Billi Resort

We found the staff very friendly and informative, especially with updates on the roads being closed due to bush fires. The room was clean and well equipped with a small cook top and microwave. There was a full sized refrigerator, coffee machine and lots of different coffee pods. We also liked the laundry facility which was easily accessed, free to use and included the washing powder and a clothes drier. The whole place was nicely set out with boardwalks giving it a spacious clean and relaxed feel, and well maintained tropical vegetation was used to screen off areas for privacy. The pool looked very inviting, although I did not get time to enjoy it on this trip, maybe next time.

The only concern I had was that there was no fence/gate stopping anyone with ill intentions from just walking in and casing the place at night. However the place is a bit further out from the main areas where people frequent.

I’ve stayed in a few surrounding hotels in Broome and The Billi definitely takes the cake. We stayed in the Queen sized tent. First of all the surrounds, beautiful serene gardens that were well kept. The birdsong. Your own outdoor area with BBQ, sofa and shade tent. Bed was top notch as well as the interior design throughout. The kitchenette had the most generous amounts of teas and coffees. Your own Nespresso machine, milk frother and meticulously layed out kitchen equipment accessories in the drawer. There was a complimentary bottle of “The Billi” wine for my birthday with a hand written note. Plenty of mosquito coils, outdoor citronella spray etc. There was an attention to detail throughout that I haven’t seen since working onboard super yachts. We arrived late the first night so I checked in with reception on my second day to make sure payment was complete (booked and paid online) and I was offered a later checkout time. Thank you! The details make the difference and The Billi definitely goes above and beyond.

You are in close proximity to your neighbours granted there are plentiful gardens in between but you can still hear loud conversations as the tent walls are thin. Will always pick here over any hotel now in Broome!!

On arrival I felt peace, calm and the dirt and stress of the drive melted away. We were early so we were able to use the pool and shower for guests, which further relaxed me. The villa's are well appointed and clean and any concerns or whatnot are dealt with straight away. All the staff we came across were professional, friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. We will stay here anytime we visit Broome and recommend it highly.

Honestly the whole property felt like a tropical oasis, it was absolutely beautiful and I wish we had stayed longer than 3 nights! My partner and I had recently got engaged before our trip to the Billi and Rachel so kindly upgraded us to the King room with aircon and all I can say is just WOW, the room was breathtaking and the aircon was definitely needed so we are eternally grateful. They even popped a bottle of bubbles in the fridge for us which was just the cherry on top of the whole experience. We will for sure be back in the future ☺️

A beautiful resort in a lovely garden setting. We stayed in the Studio Room which was secluded, very well equipped, clean and just perfect for our stay. The bathroom was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast on the small patio in front of the studio. The pool of the resort is wonderful and the staff was very friendly.

The resort is located a bit outside of Cable Beach center and more than walking distance from the beach.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had a hire car that needed to be returned around our check in time. Rachael at Billi rang the hire car company and arranged for them to pick the car up the next day so we could simply check into our room and enjoy the stay. Rachael also arranged fresh coffee pods and milk to be placed in our tent every day so we could make morning coffee. Her service was excellent and made us feel welcome and cared for. The facilities were also better than I had expected, fitout of the tent was to a very high level and the pool area was great.

Beautifully maintained, lovely staff, nice villas with everything you need for a family

Only things were the pool was absolutely freezing. Would have been lovely to use in the lovely 32 degree weather but just couldn’t manage to get in. Also a non slip mat for the shower would be great. My toddler slipped straight away and I was abit worried about slipping too being pregnant so we were putting a towel under us each time we showered

This was a really nice resort, it’s set amongst beautiful gardens with very peaceful surroundings. The communication from the Billi was appreciated especially since we were arriving early, they messaged me that our room was ready and we could check in. Staff were very friendly and really gave a personal touch. We had a two bedroom villa which was lovely and clean and had everything you needed for our stay. We all said what a great sleep we had in our beds.I loved that they had large bottles of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel etc to use instead of those small tubes you normally get in hotels. Pool was very inviting however absolutely freezing so unfortunately we couldn’t use it.

Loved everything about this resort, pool was a little small and in winter (we stayed in July) it was freezing so you could not swim in it. If you have children this may impact on your stay.

Tropical feel. Spotlessly clean room with good kitchen set up for self catering. Quiet resort. Lovely pool area. Free bikes were excellent and an easy system to borrow them.

Everything was fine. One suggestion is to add the games and books to the handout when you check in. We discovered the cupboard on the last day and would have utilised those things when the weather was unexpectedly cold on a couple of days.

Great tropical gardens and pool, a handy trolley to move your luggage in as parking is away from the rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.

If you occupy one of the buildings along a walkway be vigilant with your window coverings or you might be flashing the other guests haha. No sockets next to bedsides unless you want to move the bed and you have an extension lead (phone charging etc)
