Flag Motor Lodge

I chose Flag because I had actually lived at 129 GEH in the 1950s when my uncle owned the property and half of it was a racing stable.

Room service meals were great, big portions and value for money. The pool was awesome, lots of parking spaces which is one main thing we look for in accomadation. We were in perth for the wwe at optus stadium so having a bus stop outside the motel only meters away was a definite bonus as the bus takes u right to the gates of the stadium and the bus on the way back is across the road of the motel. Also the friendly reception were very helpful with information on how to catch the bus as it was my 1st time. Will definetly stay again.

Couldnt work the netflix on the tv, but we could have rang reception but didnt, so not really their fault

The wonderful young lady at reception did her very best to ensure a good stay. Luckily. we got an upgraded room with a nice garden view. The room and bed were comfortable and suited our needs for a night before leaving. There was also a pool on site which would be great if the temperature was a touch warmer. The motel is located not far from many facilities, and the airport. Though we didn't use their shuttle service, it was good to see that it was available for travellers. The restaurant, though quiet on the night, provided a very good meal, and room service breakfast the following morning was no disappointment.

There was nothing to really complain about, Perth is not a cheap place to stay but this location is probably better than many.

Have stayed here multiple times and am always happy with the experience. The staff are always so nice. They are so helpful with any requests, and reception is manned 24 hours. The pool area is lovely, and the grandkids had a great time swimming all afternoon. The kids' meals we ordered from room service were good for the price. There are woodcarvings throughout the gardens, and my grandson loved finding them all.

The bathroom has some mould coming through on the ceiling, which is quite low and would be easy to clean. The one sharp knife provided wasn't sharp. The shredded lettuce that came with the salad had seen better days and wasn't eaten. Flannels and a hand towel would be helpful in the bathroom.

The restaurant. My husband and I were the only ones in the restaurant. They took our order then 1 other customer came in . They gave my husbands order to him ,gave me my order then told us they had stuffed up & he had to wait 10 minutes for his.So I ate alone , then he ate later. The meal was definitely not worth the money. Steak was tough & the most basic of salad. We were hoping to have a rare treat together but so disappointing. Past experiences have been great. Staff this time didn't seem to really care when I raised my concerns. Will stay with the flag in future but won't eat there. I hope the feed back helps

Loved the daily housekeeping, beautiful hot shower, table and chairs.

Didn’t like how people smoked outside their rooms, Wafted in all the time which we didn’t like. The small fridge froze everything so we couldn’t really use it except for drinks. It would be good to have power points near beds for phone charging. There were no reading lights only fluoros. None of the ABC channels were on the tv.

Vending machines and snacks available in reception, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is actually in a good area, about 7 minutes from airport and about 7 minutes out of the city. Can uber to the city for about $15. Can leave your luggage at hotel upon checkout if you need to do some CBD travels as I wanted to before U would train to Kalgoorlie. Bonus, crown casino is just down the road

When I ordered room service for lunch just shortly after my arrival, they had a wedding to cater too, so I could only order a sandwich instead of a burger that I wanted.

Very clean, well located motel with a friendly staff. We had a comfy room, hot shower, and everything we needed for a last night after an Exmouth to Perth road trip, just the night before catching our flight back to Melbourne. We could even let our tent dry on the car park for a couple of hours prior going to bed.

Neighbours were a bit doggy, smoking weed on the porch. But they were polite enough and didn't cause any trouble. Wished that the meal we decided for dinner would have still been available, but not too much of big deal, as we still had some food left from our trip. Not sure why the carpet was wet in front of the bathroom.

Very clean place would recommend more other people to stay if they want to spend a solo trip together but a family is also a good place to stay together bed we’re very comfy and everything was clean we stayed in room 105 and the rooms were very clean and organised they had ever kitchen wear like pots and pans and knife bored and had shampoo and conditioner if you didn’t bring any and there was car parks had tv which you can connect to overall would come back again

Nothing really it was perfect

Only ordered breakfast once, it was a little slow (a bit over 30 mins for a toastie); but it was worth the wait. The staff were amazing, and the pool was great. Beds were comfortable enough. Room included a kettle, bar fridge, and some tea and coffee sachets. Reception has a decent selection of snacks and drinks.

I noticed what appeared to be mould on the ceiling of the bathroom. The toilet paper and soaps/shampoo etc seemed a little cheap. Everything else was fantastic.
