Hotel Bon Alpina

The hotel was lovely and in a great location. It was clean. The room was great as was the bathroom. The breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold. The two ladies on reception on arrival were very helpful as was the bar man.

The breakfast staff in particular were not very forthcoming. Most of the tables were set and appeared to have name cards. We asked where we should sit and were taken to an unmade table away from the rest of the guests! She was falling all over her German and Austrian guests. Language barriers should not make a difference in service or pleasantries. The same can be said for the man on reception the next morning.

We had a large family room on the top floor, of the older? Building, the hotel had a lift. The room was a generous size and had a nice balcony, a real bonus. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom and room were well equipped. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal at the hotel, the food was good value without being exceptional, the restaurant experience felt a bit chaotic, we didn’t really think they had enough staff on so it all felt a bit frenetic, this was a Friday night so the hotel was quite full. Igls is a short distance from innsbruck , about 7 kilometres I think, it is easy to visit via bus, tram bike or even walking for the very energetic as there are footpaths/ bike routes to the city. Overall a good experience but not not quite excellent

There was no air conditioning in our room, probably not a problem most of the time but being on the top floor it was quite warm. As noted above it felt a bit short staffed and frenetic, staff doing several jobs, I had to wait quite a while for a bar person to appear in the bar to serve drinks, not a big issue but took the edge off the experience.

I have absolutely no words about Hotel Bon Alpina. From the check in until check out was everything absolutely amazing! It's so good to stay in a place where you don't have to worry about anything else but just enjoy the holidays! Breakfast was superb, dinner with different menus every day and the bar with live music sometimes was just the cherry on top of the cake! They have a dedicated places for skiing equipment and the bus that goes to the mountains stops in front of the hotel. I would for sure recommend and if any time I go back to Innsbruck I will stay there!!

Nothing! It was everything fabulous.

Thus bus stop was right across the street. Innsbruck hbf was 20mins away by bus. the location was excellent. The food was great.

At the reception, during our check-in, we weren’t informed that we had the transportation day pass provided by the hotel for all the days we were staying. (Even though the receptionist knew we did not have a car) We came to know about it on the 4th day, after we had bought our transportation tickets. Wish we were informed on Day 1 during our check-in.

I understand, that lots of people like to go there, but it would be great, if the tourist groups who arrive by bus for one night would all go on the first floor, as they can be quite noisy in the morning when they leave the hotel at 6-7 am, and if they all would be on the first floor, there’s of the guests wouldn’t be disturbed.

I had a missfortunate situation to make this booking 20 minutes after midnight and in the rush to do it and get to sleep I somehow managed to miss the small writing by the question "Do you want to book it for today or tomorrow?". In that case today means yesterday. Anyway, I called tommorow morning the hotel and the front desk manager Robert played it cool and allowed me to stay normally without any hassle. Cool guy. I wanted to give it 7, but Robert made it to 8.

I was told to move my motorcycle because it's in the way of tesla chargers. Later there were parked normal petrol cars, no Tesla in sight. I guess the lady working there isn't fond of motorcycles.

I‘m happy I stayed here and not in Innsbruck. Centrally located in a cute village, the hotel had everything we needed. Good for vacation with kids or older people. Well connected to Innsbruck and Patscherkofel cable car/Pine Path hiking route.

I wish the pool and fitness room were opened 24h. Also more vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner.

Great staff, sweet and helpfull! Amazing spa Area and pool + the amazing view.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic due to the placing of food. People ran back and furth, so organising of the placement of food could minimize some of the chaotic Collection of food. Please also note There is no fridge at the hotel Room either, so if yoy expect to store water, food etc. It is not possible.

We didn’t slept in this hotel, because they were closed. We stayed in Grauer Bär which is a really nice hotel. Breakfast was really good. the location was perfect. we could park the car beneath the hotel.

As a woman alone going to the wellness I didn’t felt really safe. There was a guy a bit following me and there were not enough bystanders which is nice if you’re alone in the wellness but perhaps it would be easier if some staf could check in sometime upstairs. For the rest everything was perfect!

Quiet room with bath, comfortable bed and balcony. Good food. Pool. Nice location in lovely village with excellent access to city. Received a card for free transport and rides on certain mountain lifts.
