Hilton Garden Inn Wiener Neustadt

Really like this hotel, I’ve been before and I’ve no doubt I’ll visit again. The staff are wonderful - every person I spoke to was helpful and kind. I always felt like nothing was too much trouble, and staff were happy to help. The building is new, and feels fresh and modern. The location is great too - just near to town, and the station of you need it. We loved the breakfast also, and found a great amount of choice. I was particularly pleased to see good labelling and dietary options catered for.

Very little - however if I was to try and find fault, though I liked that the hotel provided water in the room, I’d like it if they found a way to avoid plastic bottles. We went through several in a short stay, and with many rooms it soon adds up. It doesn’t feel sustainable, when a water fountain would do, or reusable glass bottles.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Wiener Neustadt twice. This property is located almost in the city center, close to the old town and a beautiful park. The property is also adjacent to the historic Capuchin monastery. The area around the hotel is quiet and friendly. It is worth emphasizing that the hotel has very nice staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant. Guests have at their disposal: free parking, fitness center, restaurant, bar, terrace, 24-hour reception and free WiFi in all areas. All hotel rooms are air-conditioned. We chose a family room, which had: a large and comfortable king-size bed, a sofa bed, a desk, a kettle, a fridge, a safe, a flat-screen TV, an ironing board, an iron, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Each room is equipped with towels, bath gel, shampoo, soap, tea and coffee making facilities, sugar, as well as still and sparkling water. The continental breakfast is served at the property. The dishes served (hot and cold) delight with their variety and excellent taste. The offer includes many fish and vegetable dishes. The same applies to drinks: very good coffee, many different types of teas, juices (including freshly squeezed), as well as a chocolate fountain. A big attraction for children are waffles and pancakes, as well as a variety of desserts and cakes. I heartily recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Wiener Neustadt hotel both as a place to rest during onward travel (e.g. to Italy), but also as a destination stay. During the first visit to this hotel, no bedding was prepared for the third person of the guests, despite earlier payment for the stay and sending a request for an additional set of bedding. After arriving at the hotel after reporting the lack of a set of bedding three times, we received a pillow and a duvet without a pillowcase. There was also no sheet. Fortunately, the second time we came to this hotel everything was prepared for the third person.

I decided to give this hotel another chance after a poor experience in 2021. I did not regret it. With no US soccer team occupying half of the hotel and no longer suffering from COVID restrictions, the experience was finally worth the expense. The rooms were clean and well-kept, the breakfast buffet was very good, the staff was (mostly) friendly, and the price/quality ratio finally made sense. I am glad I returned to give it another try, and will very likely return in the future.

Nothing major. Some of the staff (reception late at night during check-in) could have been friendlier, but not the end of the world.

I liked just about everything. The room was clean and spacious, the complimentary coffee, tea and water was a lovely touch, and the beds were big and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The location is great too, a few minutes away from the railway and bus station, and the same from the city centre. The elevators weren't packed and the breakfast was great.

Really can't find anything I didn't like, except maybe the fact that you can't connect the phone to the TV via Bluetooth, but that's nitpicking, especially for the price.

I stayed at the Hilton in order to attend an international football match which was also taking place in the city and I think it says quite a lot that both of the national teams were also staying at the hotel at the same time as me! The Hilton is definitely the best hotel in this incredibly small city - it's close to the train station and is very central to what few attractions Wiener Neustadt has. It's also very close to the bus route that takes you right to the football stadium, which would be an hour-long walk. Staff were great and were really helpful, working with me to try and fix my television problems - it turns out that the TV wasn't working because I hadn't switched the mains power on. I figured that out by myself but before that, they tried to replace batteries, sent up maintenance and offered me an entirely different room! You also get a welcome drink for joining the loyalty program. Wi-Fi is fast too.

I think the price is quite high considering the city. Wiener Neustadt isn't a major tourist destination but Hilton have priced this hotel very highly despite there being very little to do here and so I wouldn't expect it to be in such high demand. Also, the thing with the mains power could have been detailed better. Not a big deal but it's the only thing that wasn't good in the room.

First, I like the bed, the cleanliness from each room and yes, it is quiet. The rooms are well noise-isolated and I can get a good sleep so this is my favorite hotel from Austria, each time I travel across Europe I always sleep here.

Oh well, there's a demolition going on near the hotel. Unfortunately, this is not the fault of the hotel. It appears someone bought a part of the buildings near-by and will build a lot of of apartments. There is some noise starting with 7:00 - 7:30 AM so make sure you go to sleep early. During the night is quit though.

The location was set in a nice area, with a little walk to the centre of the village. Nice places to eat and drink. Reception was clean and inviting. Staff were very friendly. My room was on the first floor and very quiet. It was clean,tide and quiet, with complementary water, tea and coffee. blackout blinds worked as treat. Breakfast we good, plenty of choice and nice surroundings. Evening meal was good.

Couldn't think of anything that was not good

This is a new hotel. It stands in the usual Hilton standard which is high. The parking is free. It has a tiny convenience store in the lobby. If you're a tech lover, you'll like to open your room with the HHonors app It has kids corner in the breakfast area. The breakfast is huge. It is next to the old city wall. If you're a history lover Price was very low considering the hotel brand, its level and breakfast

We stayed in two rooms. Our room had some sewage issue and the bathroom was very stinking. The other room was fine. I'm sure this just some technical issue and hopefully soon it will be fixed, but I can't not to mention it.

This was the first hotel I checked in to on holiday and by far the best. When it said it had a King Sized bed, that was what it had - not the 2 single beds pushed together with single duvets, but one bed and one big duvet. The breakfast was very good with a chef there to cook eggs to your order.

It is a bit far from the centre of the town. This was the problem due to the heat so when cooler it would not be such a problem.
