Hotel The Royal Snail

The location was great, right on the river, not too noisy, close enough to walk into town. The hotel was lovely. Very smart. Quite trendy. The food was out of this world. An absolute must. We only stayed one night, on our way back to the UK, it was fabulous. The staff were very helpful, even giving us inside, secure parking for our motorbike. The communication before we arrived was very quick - we booked last minute. The bed was super comfy. It was a large room. We even had a coffee machine in the room. Very nice all round.

We recommend using Google maps to find the hotel, as our GPS kept sending us onto the top of the hill - bit of a nightmare up a cobbled, switch-back road on a fully loaded motorbike! At least we saw the Citadel!

Everything, it was all good missed the hotel on our first try but it was of no consequence.We had parking at a private location which was excellent as they had a busy restaurant so lots of people coming and going. The food was excellent we had the 5 course chef’s special I’m ruined for any other restaurant. Do book in advance we chanced it the next night and they were fully booked. Lovely staff couldn’t ask for a better room, tried the pool which was cute but very very small, but cooled you down. Our suite was wonderful spacious lovely bed and quiet even though we were by the pool.Did not try the breakfast so cannot comment.

the hotel is good. room is large and well kept. simple, but artistic design. I got the room on ground floor looking over the river (not so great view, but very peaceful in morning when the road is not busy). the staff speaks good English. restaurant is the bold. the location is 15min walk to the center. by car it is very fast, but traffic can be crazy as the queue can be quickly formed. bus opposite the hotel is every one hour to station. taxi is 15 eur per trip to station or center city. very convenient to move around.

not so many options of restaurants around the hotel. the one in hotel is good and the one in mecure next door is also good. but that is it. 15 min walk to go to the city center and tons of good options there

The room was great: big, cosy, the bed was big and comfortable. The terrace with a great view, we could sip our drinks there and watch our toddler sleeping in the cot beside the window. The bathroom was nice, big and clean. I liked everything about this room.

The parking is not very convenient, you have to go a bunch of stairs, it's very tight and steep. It would be much better if it would be possible to reserve a parking place in the front. The door to the bathroom can be tricky. If it goes to the wall completely, it's hard to get it back!

The location of the hotel is situated right below the mighty Citadel of Namur, which made a trip to the Citadel on foot possible (but its a steep walk). The Room and overall vibe of the hotel was modern and very nice, a luxurious interior! We visited the spa with accompanying massage which was the perfect closure of our trip to Namur!

Hard to say to be honest. So if i have to mention something that is maybe minor is the parking amenities in front of the hotel. But even saying it is minor is stretching it, we loved our stay on all aspects!

The room was comfy, clean and well kept, I liked the toiletries, bathroom was great and nice to have a separate toilet room from the bathroom, The balcony was lovely and great view and wonderful weather. The breakfast was of good quality. The breakfast manager was particularly friendly and helpful.

I didn't like the fact I had to request Nespresso coffee pods downstairs, this wasn't explained to me when checking in. I wish the shower had a rail when climbing out of the bath as it was a bit of a hazard due to slippy bath/floor.

I have booked the room that faces the road and realized it was very noisy when entering the room, receptionist provided me with another room which is normally more expensive free of charge. Room is very clean and very well equipped , super mini bar. Very good space for sport with machines.

Breakfast is too expensive, its not bad but it should be max 13 euro not 20 Hotel restaurant is very expensive, dishes are really small for a price of big ones which is not common in Belgium.

Hotel on the outskirts of Namur. Only a 15 minute walk to the centre. Has a very small 'plunge' pool so dont expect to swim! Room nice, comfortable, very large bathroom. Coffee machine in room too. Parking on street as short walk from hotel (free)

No tea making facilities in room. The room was large but strangely not much free floor space. During the night noticed aircon wasnt working (its always during the night you realise!)

Really good location, nice and clean rooms. Quiet despite facing the main street and the river. An overall pleasant atmosphere. Really good restaurant with exceptional food. Parking can be tricky but there is free parking in many of the surrounding streets you just need to look for it.

the location was very convenient, only 15 min walk to the city-centre. The wellness centre is a really good bonus, offering relaxation. The room was nice with a extremely comfortable bed.

The room could have been cleaner, the curtains had a lot of stains. I had booked a deluxe pool room, but the view was not great at all and it didn’t look like the room offered on the website.
