We thought the hotel was luxurious and very special. When we drove up, I thought we were in the wrong place! It was like a dream hotel, and our room was beautifully detailed and very comfortable. Our doors to the balcony opened to the rose gardens which was lovely. I ran each morning around the property and felt very safe. Walking to the citadel was a bonus! Dinners were a treat and the breakfasts exceptional as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone…it was the perfect finish to our vacation.

The only small issue was that our AC did not appear to be working in the room for our first night. So we checked with the front desk the next morning and they took care of the problem apparently because our room cooled down by the afternoon.

The location was beautiful. Lovely terrace for breakfast or dinner. Staff friendy and helpful. Room clean and mini fridge handy. The hotel restaurant served a fixed menu. Not cheap but the food was delicious.

Although location was beautiful it was a long walk downhill to the town and restaurants. A hard uphill walk back. The cable car stopped at 6 o'clock so no good in the evening. A short taxi ride into town was around 20 euro so very expensive for a 2 way trip in the evening. The breakfast very good but was not included and pushed the cost up significantly but felt no choice as the town was such a distance

The chateau it's self is beautiful building with good restaurant and breakfast.

The room was small, dark and dusty. Almost no day light. They should pay more attention to cleaning. Every towel we got was with unwashed stains. Mirror heating in the bathroom switched on & off itself, room got extremely hot due to it. The location is not the best. Returning back later in the dark (in the winter 6pm) means walking through muddy pathes without public lighting.

The rooms are very comfortable & spacious. The parking is very convenient & safe. The amenities are good. However, there was only 2 tea bags available and not of quality like at breakfast. The bed was comfortable with enough pillows especially with the extra touch of having lights behind the head board with a switch of Zen, Romantic & Normal lights. However, the normal lightening did not work.

I was disappointed with the breakfast which could have been better at this level of hotel! They only served cut pineapple and did not have a fruit salad available. Fruits such as bananas & unripe pears were available in a basket. There was no cake. There was a very young chef making the eggs in the breakfast room itself and he was so nervous that he was shaking while making any kinds of eggs! It took over half an hour to receive mine. I was told Gluten-free bread was available if I ask for it, but there was no effort made to actually provide it! There is much room for improvement regarding breakfast.

The room is in good size. The bathroom is clean. Reception staff is very polite and helpful and always wear a smile. The staff at the breakfast is excellent and he is helpful and with good manner and service. Parking is free at the hotel. Although the hotel is on the hill but can take the cable car to the city center. Be aware the cable car stopped at 6:pm. Or take a taxi it costs about 12 euro. I would love to come back next time.

The maintenance could do a bit better.

wonderfull and impressive large Château, we were already the second time here. We had two Executive Double-rooms, really excellent in style and equipment. The location of the Château is unique at the top of a hill beyond Namur, surrounded by a forest and nice walking areeas around with further points of interst, as e.g the citadelle. The chef de cuisine of the restaurant is on highest level of french cuisine, Really recommandable to have a dinner in the restaurant.

The food, the menues, the waiter/waitress service. The room was beyond expectation: very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful view from the room of the gardens and surrounding woodland.

The water from the 'hot' bath tap wat (initially) stone cold, but after complaining about this, the water was OK (on day 2). However there was very little pressure, so that filling the bath took half an hour. It was a pity that there were too few non-french channels on the TV. If you wish to attract guests from other language areas, you need to include at least one Dutch channel, a German channel, and above all the BBC (world) and CNN.

Hotel is super nice, nature around is beautiful and it is very peaceful. We had king suite room with a living room and it was great. Beds super comfy. Staff very helpful and responsive. However, breakfast was extremely disappointing. No veggies, no choice of food, very poor for a 4* hotel. This is the only minus. Everything else made our experience great.

Very poor breakfast, not to a standard of 4* hotel

This Château is really wonderful luxury! We had two executive rooms in the first floor. With high ceilings and even small balcony each with view to the rose-garden. These are really luxury rooms, all equipment is wonderful in old luxury style with some modern elements and the large and modern bathroom with marble and wood is really on high luxury level. We felt very comfortable in every sense, Also the bar/lobby is nice, mixture with modern elements and also the restaurant / breakfast hall. All personal/staff is very nice. It was a one night this time as an intermediate stay from our way back from the Bretagne. We will come again at next occasion, not only as intermediate stay, but also dedicated to visit the nice university town Namur again. Really very much recommendable hotel.

Great spot, though by nature a little far from the centre of town. Getting to town was easy on the cable car, however it stops running at 5pm so then you have to either get a bus or walk up the hill, which is what we opted for! Staff were lovely and we had everything we needed.

Bathroom seemed a little less luxurious than the rest of the room, though it was nice to have it in a separate hall.
