Days Inn by Wyndham Red Deer

Room was good, breakfast food was good but cold because its not organized. This was not the workers fault! they were trying their best!

The food lines are so slow that tables take twice as long to clear as it should! The pancake maker and toaster should be on a separate side table as this holds the total line up twice as long as it should. Normally a family member sits and holds the table while the other family members are getting food. Because it takes them so long for food the tables are held twice as long as it should take. Many folks are trying to take food up to their rooms. Also there is room for more tables. By the time we ate everything was cold.

We had a horrible experience the night before at another hotel so we were hoping for a decent and clean hotel. This hotel far exceeded the expectations. The staff accommodated our request for rooms close together and they were adjoining. The rooms were clean and lovely!! The pool was great for the kids.

The hotel had a hard time keeping up with the request for towels. The following morning there was only one person working on breakfast and this was too much for one person. The cooking facilities were also not adequate to cook more than one thing at a time. At one point, my family offered to help refill items because it was clear that it was too much for one person.

Booking and front staff were wonderful to deal with and understood our reason for travel and family dynamic and we’re able to accommodate requests easily. The free breakfast exceeded expectation and was a nice surprise, the hotel is centrally located and we will be staying again. Thank you Eden and Ashmeen.

Elevator seemed to always be wet with water from the pool and as a person with a physical disability, it became fearful to get in and out of it. Not a big issue but if I had to pick something, that would be it. Otherwise, great job on part of the hotel.

Bedroom was comfortable and for once the room doors didn't slam when people left them to close! Breakfast was good, but could have done with some yoghurts. Close to lots of shops and eateries.

No lounge of any description to sit in and only one lift which was pretty busy. I also couldn't find the hotel with the GPS so had to call the hotel! I didn't like the fact that they hold my credit card details, not just taking the cost of my room.

Our room was big! I loved that. The bed was hard and not very comfortable. First thing in the morning they ran out of eggs in the breakfast room. The pool was a madhouse, but that's not the hotels fault. If you're looking for a peaceful place, don't come here. If your looking for convenience and a huge room, then yes. The staff is amazing. 10/10 for the staff.

The staff went over and above to meet our needs There were full sized toiletries in bathroom so we all had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The rate was the best in Red Deer and they had an excellent breakfast that impressed us all. The pool was lots of fun for the kids! Beds were soft and comfortable and there were enough pillows too!

Property is a bit older but that didn’t matter at all as it was very comfortable

Simplistic accommodations at a good price. Staff were very interested in feedback and quick to address concerns.

During the two night stay there was no cleaning services offered. Rooms need larger trash bins and add recycle containers if this practice continues. Check out was delayed while waiting for the single staff attendant on morning duty to complete her simultaneous breakfast duties.

The room was very nice and clean.

Really disappointing that I wanted to pay in cash and was told that they would not accept my $100 bills. Which I find outrageous and cash is a valid form of currency. And my room was $170 so it was not a lot of change to have to break. Our friends staying in another room also had a small snack provided to them when they checked into our room and we did not.

The hotel was in a great location, was very clean, and all amenities were awesome. We really enjoyed the pool and breakfast in the morning was absolutey delicious.

Was very frustrated when i arrived as i prebooked online and pre paid, but when i arrived the front desk staff said it wasn't in her system and asked for another payment. In the morning the front desk staff said that my original payment was in the system and cleared up the misunderstanding.

The room was spacious, breakfast was good although it would be nice to have some lactose free items to choose from. The bed was excellent. I am going to persue what make as I wish to upgrade my home mattress and I found this mattress perfect.

The lack of lactose free items at breakfast is frustrating, although I did speak with a couple of people in charge of the menu & they agreed they could do better & will.
