Fairfield by Marriott Niagara Falls, Canada

No frills, it had all the amenities and a little more, it’s clean, staff were friendly, breakfast which was included in the room price was surprisingly quite good (even though we’ve read reviews about how some people complained about the breakfast) - they served quiches, omelette, hard boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, potatoes, chocolate milk, milk, coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, bread, various selection of condiments.

Room was a little small for 3 adults and a toddler, needed more USB outlets (two USB outlets on the digital clock weren’t enough), AC unit was loud but it did its job in cooling the room.

Overall really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will definitely return! It exceeded my expectations and felt like I wasn’t in Niagara Falls considering how new the rooms and hotel felt. There’s several benefits that this hotel has going on for them: - Very clean rooms and feel throughout the hotel - Newly renovated - Room was quiet and loved the fact that we were at the end of the hall because some rooms as we walked by were really loud - Bed and pillows were really comfortable and easy to fall asleep on - Shower works great and felt clean - Washroom and room felt very modern especially with the lighting and vanity - Loved the fact that they had working cable and able to use Netflix or YouTube - Room was spacious and well thought out to store items/cupboards/hidden fridge - Complimentary breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day and had good variety. Lots of spacious areas to sit or take it to go back to room - 24 hour use of gym and nice patio section to relax - Walking distance to all of Niagara’s main attractions/Clifton Hill/Casino - Staff were all friendly and welcoming I’ve stayed at several properties in the area and this is if not, the best place to possibly stay!

There was only a few things I didn’t like or would suggest, but overall wasn’t a huge deal. - No plastic bag for ice in ice bin - The a/c was kinda loud every time it turned on in the middle of the night - The room had a bit of a musty/chlorinated smell but it wasn’t terrible - Check out time would be great if they changed it to 12pm - If you park at the property, the fee is a bit expensive considering you can park nearby for cheaper rates - Breakfast felt a little too busy but it’s understandable

Location was good, quick checkin, polite staff, close parking lot

The washrooms not cleaned that great there were stains on wall and floor, toilet paper wasn’t new, shortage of towels in room, no garbage bag in washroom and no other garbage in the room. Called Guest Service for extra towels and toilet paper no one came had to go to guest service desk to ask for it. Breakfast food tasted rubbery, lots of people were throwing plates with food.

An amazing property situated very close to the Niagara falls. The hotel is located on a busy street. Its a well maintained hotel and the staff working there is extremely helpful and courteous. Katherine, the operations manager solely looks after the guests, be it check in or handling breakfast operations, everything done by her was very professional. She was extremely welcoming and very helpful. Rob too is very helpful and friendly. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and i would recommend travellers to stay at this amazing property.

Well there was nothing to dislike about the hotel. Only if Marriotts could step up their breakfast game and add a few hot items in the menu.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over a 20 year period, as vacations. The hotel has had seveal ownerships. Love the location with restaurants and Clifton Hill snd Falls within walking distance. Liked the updated rooms and cleanliness of the building. Good staff, personable and knowledgeable.

Room needed a second garbage receptacle and there was no bin for recycling. The mini fridge would freeze our softdrinks and food. The heating system would run the air conditioning and immediately after that cycle, the unit would blow hot air. It was constantly back and forth between the two, so the temperature in the room was never consistent, you were either too hot, or too cold. The beds were great, but the pillows were too firm, causing me to wake up with a stiff neck. The inconsistent HVAC could have contributed to stiff aching neck as well. The lighting could be improved on. No table and chairs in the room to play cards on or eat on. A small two seater table would have sufficed. Overall, room facilities needed improvements, but we still enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Fairfield.. the reception staff are very helpful and accommodated our early check in and late check out requests.. kept our bags at the hotel at the last day because we had to go out.. the breakfast was tasty and has a variety of options for hot and cold.. there were scones, muffins, cereal, yogurt, oats, etc.. And for the hot buffet, they had cheese omlettes, pancakes and potatoes.. also in the fridge, there was Philadelphia cheese, Milk, chocolate milk.. fruits.. Honestly I haven't seen breakfast like this since COVID hit so this was refreshing!! Room was relatively clean. Loved the small vending machine at the reception and overall I would definitely recommend the hotel and I would stay here again! This is what I consider value for money 💰

We found a couple of small hairs in the shower so they could improve the cleaning a bit more.. also it would be great if they can add bacon or sausages to the hot breakfast but other than that.. our stay was really good.

Our stay was very comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for. Check-in went smoothly, and staff were friendly and helpful. Bed’s we’re comfy, AC was self-adjustable and worked well, and our room was pretty clean. The pool, gym and outdoor lounge area were never busy and were great for working out and relaxing. The walk from the hotel to Clifton Hill was only about 5 minutes. Continental breakfast was a good value. It included baked goods, bacon, yogurt bar, omelettes, cereal, juices, coffee, etc.

Only thing is that parking costs are a bit steep at $25 per day. Also beware of the speed bump at the entrance, it’ll scrape the bottom of your car even at low speeds.

We liked everything. Breakfast was good and always refilled. Room was wonderful. Exactly like in the pictures! And the location is perfect; A 5 minute-walk to Clifton Hill! Perfect for the children! You can just park your car at the hotel for your entire stay like I did and walk to everywhere you want to go! I'm telling you, from now on this hotel is gonna be my go-to hotel whenever I go to Niagara Falls!

Apart from the parking fees which I think should be included in the price, nothing was bad... We liked everything! From the terrace to the pool or the gym, everything was perfect!

Paying extra for parking Breakfast was ok Pool was smaller than expected (clearly well kept tho) The bathroom was smaller than expected and did not have a bath tub

Very comfortable, standard room. Very clean, breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Location is great, just 5 minutes walk to Clifton Hill and restaurants all around.

The pool was quite small, but clean, warm and not crowded. Breakfast was so busy one morning it was just chaos. Parking is extra and expensive, but standard in the area. One gentleman at the desk was gruff and condescending to another guest.
