The breakfast was great and Sue made some great suggestions for juices. Sue was very attentive with a family and baby in a high chair. She made people feel like you were at home.

It would be nice to have a secured locked room for baggage/tagged with the room number so we could drop off luggage before check in and go shopping. Once the room is ready to have the baggage dropped off in the room. Just a thought, it makes a big difference for service.

The room was huge and comfortably fit the whole family. The location was only a short walk away from the main attractions and the room itself had a good view of the river.

The only real complaint I have is, the room had a nice balcony with a beautiful view of the river. However, the balcony itself looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The chairs on the balcony were covered with cobwebs and bugs. But this was my main complaint everything else was great, I would recommend this place to friends and family, and I will be returning for my next trip to Niagara.

Quiet, good location niceview of the river and US falls, and its only 10mins walk to clifton hill.

The location is great, close to the falls, secret garden, and core activities, yet quiet. Really enjoyed the bright and spacious pool/sauna area. Parking is reasonable and we were able to park there until 3 PM after checkout at 11:00. The room fridge was super quiet. VERY comfy bed. The spa tub in room was nice to relax in. Loved the Queen Ann style furnishing here. Others are too modern and stale. Very clean room and bathroom. No smells, perfume, cleaners.

An included breakfast would be nice. Furniture was getting worn, needs refinishing! Some TLC on the wall paper seams would work.

Everything was great! From staff friendliness and professionalism to the room itself. During our stay the hotel was quiet, water, when needed, was hot. Room clean, some may say the decor old fashioned/dated. This doesn't bother us in the least. Bed was comfortable, pillows (plentiful), too. We had the suite with a jacuzzi, very nice. Although my hubby had a bit of a challenge climbing in and out lol.

The only thing that caused me discomfort was the outside stairs leading from the upper parking lot. They are metal, with no riser, and are mesh-type. As long as I didn't look down, it wasn't terrible. But, you guessed it! I looked down, yikes!

Location, room was clean, bed was comfortable, sheets were fresh, towels were soft. Pool was great. The room had coffee maker, coffee/tea, shampoo, soap, blow drier, etc. Fully functional. Wifi was pretty good, tv channels were ok. Everything is walking distance, tons of shops and restaurants as well as the falls across the street and Clifton Hill within 5 mins.. the hotel is a bit dated but we didn't care as long as the room was clean, and it was!

I paid for a "city view" room and all I could see out my window was a wall/window to the pool area and a bit of the parking lot.. so I feel I paid a lot for a "wall view" room.

Balcony/view was excellent

Whirlpool tub didn't seem to work. A little worn around edges, but view made up for it.

What I really liked about our stay was the location. Niagara can be a very busy active place with lots of visitors and noise late into the night, however this location is on the edge of the tourist area and was nicely quiet and yet in easy walking distance to many of the places we like to visit and see. We used the jacuzzi several times. I liked they provide a list of the local TV stations in the room, not all hotels provide that.

This is an older hotel. The TV was very small, 32" I think. The pool was too cool for us to use. You had to stretch to see the river from the first-floor rooms. Parking was an extra charge. No free breakfast.

I have always liked this travel lodge bc the staff are pleasant and professional. Rooms are clean although a bit dated.

Parking, the lower level parking should be for handicapped or seniors bc the upper level is not accessible for people like me. The metal stairs are not easy for someone w leg issues and as a senior walking from that dark parking lot and down the street and around the corner to the hotel entrance is also a security issue especially for seniors (lone female seniors).

The staff are warm and welcoming and they're very accommodating. The view of the river is top notch and its close enough to everything but still a bit off the beaten path. The pool, hottub and sauna are perfect for a spa experience and it's close to the bus terminal and via rail station. This is our go to hotel when we go to Niagara for 20 years now. Highly recommend this hotel, great deal for your money.

No smoking on the balcony very awkward if you have young kids that you don't want to leave unattended. Also have to cross the street to smoke.
