Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls

The room is clean and has a view of Clifton Hill establishments such as the Casino Niagara and the entertainment area. It is only few minutes walk to the event I was attending. The breakfast is as expected with eggs, meat patty, cereals, bread and drinks. The lady at the reception was very kind to check us in the morning, much earlier than the check-in time.

It would be better if the TV shows local channels, at least with news channel for weather update.

Friendly prompt check-in. Room was really comfy and big for me and the kids with 2 queen beds. Bathroom was clean and had all necessary things. The kids love the breakfast, for me not so much choice as I am gluten free and never expected anything anyway, but would be nice to have some fruit and yogurts available. Apart from that, the wifi kept dropping but its not really a deal breaker as you just re-log in. We really enjoyed our stay and walking across to the water park, it was great value for money.

The Clifton Hill Victoria was in the center of Clifton Hill, one block from the downtown fun area and two blocks from the waterfalls. Amazing location. Also the hotel was older, but it was beautiful and kept so clean. We were so pleased with our stay for two nights last Sunday and Monday, the pool is not large, but refreshing and clean

A little fruit would be nice for breakfast like bananas or oranges, but other than that the breakfast staff was wonderful lots of choices of breads and cereals, etc. like any other continental breakfast

The location is excellent, just a block or two away from all the main attractions. Prices are really good, compared to all alternatives in the same part of the city. Towels were good and toiletries are nice - really liked the grape-based lotion provided.

The suite was dated and it smelled funny. Corridors are not well lit and one out of two elevators was broken. Elevators also seem to be dated - there is no indication of whether you pushed a button or not.

The front desk staff was ok. The morning continental breakfast and the servers were very friendly and accommodating. It was an easy walk to view the falls, etc. Short distance to the Hard Rock restaurant and rainbow bridge. Free hotel parking was nice.

At times, we could hear noise from movement coming from either next door or upstairs. Now, we were a room away from the staircase, so it could have been from people exiting or entering . It only lasted a few minutes and several occasions. There weren't any usb charging connectors for our smartphones. The TV programming was very limited. Overall, it wasn't too much of an issue. It's an older hotel, but clean. We would recommend it for a night or two.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. We knew from other reviews that the hotel needed up grading and that was true but it was kept very clean, and for what we paid, was good value. There was never any problem with free parking at the hotel which was a bonus.

We found the breakfast a bit boring but adequate to fill our needs. We had cereal, toast/muffins/ bagels, juice and coffee each morning and alternated it with breakfast at Perkins across the road.

The room was very neat and quite large for a family room. This hotel is about the only hotel that still serves breakfast post COVID and it is a wonderful gesture as a lot of tourists rely on this to start their days. We could see the Skylon Tower, waterpark, Falls games village and all, right from our windows. We hardly drove anywhere except once when we really wanted to eat some Chinese cuisine at Mandarin which was 15 mins drive. All other time, we walked even with the kids.

Some basic needs required for a family room were missing. Microwave, Electric kettle, Fridge. Service elevator was limited to just 1 thereby you have longer wait time. The aisles need cobwebs cleaning and the rugs on the aisle should be changed as they are dusty and do not smell nice

Room was nice and spacious. Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of activities and walking. The location was perfect. I liked that they had a warm breakfast.

The shampoo and conditioner. My hair felt like straw once washed and conditioned. I would of like for them to alternate the breakfast like they do at other places. Pancakes and bacon on the opposite day. Have an ice machine on each floor.

First off, this hotel is in an excellent location and value wise, you can't beat it. Very clean, and the staff was great. Free parking here which is a big plus because every other hotel in the area charges a daily fee. Free breakfast every morning that saves you money for all of the tourist attractions in the area. Another big plus is that it's about a 10 minute walk to the falls.

I liked everything here.

The room was comfortable. Breakfast is adequate but would like to see a piece of fruit or yogurt. No shortage of what was served. Dining area very clean, staff very friendly.

Unfortunately on this trip, we found our room not to be cleaned very well. I wiped up dust and facial hair shavings off the bathroom vanity, there was a long black hair in the bath mat when I opened it, there was a small gob of soap with hair stuck in it on the shelf in the tub and all the lamps where dusty. from the amount of dust on them I would surmise that they had not been dusted in quite some time.
