I liked that this property is right on the beach and that there is a restaurant too. It was a good price as well and good location, close to Sandbanks park. Our room was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well as we stayed in hot summer weather.
The beach is not the best but it is good for kids to play on or for people who want to sunbathe. It is very rocky towards the water so bro by your water shoes.

We liked everything: the location, the view of the lake, the quietness of the place, the beautiful grounds and the friendly members of staff.
We did not like the fact that there were no cups, cutlery or glasses provided! There is a fridge and a microwave so the expectation is that guests will bring in food! If the resort cannot provide glasses, caps, plates and cutlery then they should be encouraged to bring their own!

Location. Proximity to Sandbanks. Outdoor patio very nice. Deck a little shaky though when people walk on it. Service was great. Fish tacos exceptional.
Room was too bright for a proper nights rest . Too much light coming from sides of curtains especially when there are outside lights placed near windows. Dark grout on shower/tub wall tiles not nice to see. Other than that was nice.

The restaurant was beautiful, but we tried to eat there and even though it was almost empty, it took a LONG time for us to be seated and any waiter come to talk to us. We decided to leave.

The staff, the clealiness, the beach and restaurant the Knoll.
It needs more renovations but it is coming along nicely. The carpets in the rooms should.all be removed. We enjoyed our room and stay !

The grounds looked beautiful. The beach was great, although we regretfully did not get a chance to use it. The Annex room we stayed in had a beautiful corner window.
A few flowering bushes in the grassed area and a Level 2 EV changer would make this place even better.

We got here and right after entering the parking lot... the car would not start. The lady at the reception immediately offered to call someone to jump start my car. We managed to fix the issue which saved our weekend. The hotel was very clean and the room we had was big with a nice fireplace and direct access to the beach. It was very peaceful and quiet at that time of the year. Picton and other areas are not so far away (10-15min drive) and the Sand Dunes are only 5min away. We also went for a run to look at the pretty houses on the island and enjoy running along the West Lake I'd love to visit again in summer !
