Quality Inn & Suites Bay Front

The room was great. Very clean. Room was very soundproof…no disturbances from other occupied rooms.

The clerk at the front desk was not welcoming. She assigned us a room that was difficult to locate due to the fact there were no signs on the hotel wall to indicate the room was around the corner. We had to go back down to the front desk and ask the same clerk for assistance. She was not the least apologetic or sympathetic that we were experiencing some problems. We tried to explain to her why we had difficulty and she just kept repeating “the room is around the corner”. Guest Parking was very limited and it was difficult for us to find a space somewhat close to the hotel entrance.

As always the cleanliness and the extent always taken by the employees to make your stay as comfortable as possible I was also surprised and very grateful for the extra towels provided as routinely requested. I couldn’t believe it I was too busy to remember the one request and felt so acknowledged that one more thing was off my travel list when I arrived and was reminded by the extra care taken by the staff to provide the towels in the room 🥰💖🙏🏽 thank you Quality for the next to home comfort in the Sault🥰💖🙏🏽 much appreciated and definite choice of hotel when travelling back home to the Sault🥰💖🙏🏽 see you again in three months 🥰💖🙏🏽 thank you again Respectfully, RB

clean, quiet, and good food 🥘 readily accessible

Breakfast was typical continental, but was just fine. Lots of options, good coffee, nice dining room. Rooms were very clean, and staff was very friendly.

The hotel and the rooms were very clean. Staff, especially cleaning staff, were very friendly. There were a number of "out of order" signs in use -- front door, ice machines, exercise equipment, hot tub, etc. Too bad those weren't being maintained as well as the rest of the hotel.

The staff was so friendly and helpful I truly appreciate the staff hard work which helped make my stay each day enjoyable thank you. My stay was so comforting and cozy like an extension of home thank you quality inn for your exceptional hospitality thank you . I will definitely be back in September oh yeah the breakfast and restaurant dinner is amazing love my food and I tell you my tummy enjoyed it too… See you soon Rosie🥰

Quiet, close to the main road and shopping centres and waterfront and clean and cozy

It was right by the waterfront and was close to all the areas we wanted to visit. Staff were all very friendly. We didn’t know what to expect before we arrived and we were pleasantly surprised. I paid in advance for this room and wasn’t sure if I would regret that or not but it exceeded our expectations and I would stay here again if I was in Sault Ste Marie again.

Pool was closed for renovations during our stay. However we were not surprised about this as I received a call before our arrival.

Very friendly and helpful staff who gave us an upgrade to a larger suite on a high floor. The room was fabulous with comfy bed and lots of space, including a microwave and fridge, and we enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub after 7 days of highway driving across Canada. The restaurant on site had tasty food and excellent staff and the morning complimentary breakfast was good too. Within five minutes or so from the highway and just across from a mall, made this an excellent location to stop,

Staff were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and eager to please. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Something for everyone. Very happy with this hotel. Location was fantastic, walking distance from canal, mall, casino, and boardwalk. Great views of the river too. This was our second time at this location, and will definitely be back.

That we are only here for 2 days.....

The breakfast was great! We love hot food options to start our day. The only negative was the young child who was opening all the cabinets and taking out food items while his parents did nothing. Obviously, not the hotel's responsibility. I just found it to be really stressful and felt bad for the breakfast attendant because there was nothing he could do about it either.

1) Apparently our gas cap was tampered with in the parking lot. Found out in the morning as we were leaving town so I wonder about the security of the area. 2) The mattress on the fold out sofa was really uncomfortable. If you are going to offer it, it would make sense for it to be comfortable for at least the kids to use.

Everyone in the hotel was so friendly and helpful. The bed was wonderful and l loved the sheets. The restaurant was out of this world

Our first 2 nights we had noisy kids in room 516...sounded like they were playing ball against the wall. Another seat outside away from smokers would be nice..l.missed drinking my morning coffee outside.

Really like the staff. They are always helpful, polite and pleasant. We pick this place as it also has a pool that the kids love to go to.

This was our second stay and it isn't that we didn't like per say but we preferred our first family room to this one as it was much larger the first time which was better when you have 3 young kids running around. Also to hot tub was not working which was a little disappointing.
