Super 8 by Wyndham Sault Ste. Marie

We had a nice kitchen in the room, so I got l to make a nice breakfast. The beds are comfortable and clean. We used the sleeper sofa, and it was nice and clean as well. The pool is open till 12:00 so that was nice. We loved meeting a works dog named precious. Yes, dogs are welcome at this place. I need help finding a gluten free restaurant and I thank her name was Kit called places and found me a restaurant very helpful.

When we first got there to cheek in the lady who was checking people in was very rude so rude that she never finished checking us into our room. The lady saw the person to replace her and just got her things and left for the day. Did not say goodbye or let us know that the next lady will finish checking you into your room, she started telling the girl who was coming in how bad the day was good luck and left. Now the next lady who was still counting her cash drawer down just kept apologizing and got us in as soon as she could, and I got to meet her dog precious and precious was the size of a horse. The lady kit I thank her name had even found me a gluten free restraint to eat at. The next person who worked the night shift was very nice as well and help full we need towels.

The room, even though small was very well designed and had many amenities I don't usually find. Example, there was a power strip on the work desk! Sooo helpful! The shower/tub was roomy with a corner seat. Very nice. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, sausage gravy etc. I was very pleased.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. Maybe the ice only being on the second floor, but that was it.

The room was an excellent size for my family of six. The location was great. Not in downtown, but only a few minutes away. The pool and hot tub were a great size as well.

The pool room the first night hurt my eyes because of an abundance of chemicals. The breakfast room could be much larger. Many people couldn’t sit or had to rush around, but the food was good!

We booked through our phone. Google. We had alot of trouble...first time ended up way west of of super 8. Then they tried to send us to S.S.M. Ontario. But when we heard the zip code we knew it was wrong. Then the company we booked through said to my husband: you suck and hung up. Now since we were out in the country, in the dark. We used our GPS to our home address and stopped at a gas station. A customer gave us Super 8 location.

Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable.

There was only one chair in our room and it was a hard wooden one with no cushion.. No way could anyone sit and read in that chair. Would suggest that if pets are to be allowed that they should be in a hall away from other guests so that barking, and yipping don’t bother other guests. Also, the rooms seem to have almost no insulation between them as sounds from other rooms, across the hall and above were easily heard.

The breakfast was good. What you get for price, It keeps the price of hotel lower. We where there to visit family. Needed a place to stay. We wanted nice place with low price.

The only thing was the shower made high pitch sound while running. Wouldnt stop but more a personal anoyus.

We checked in late & the staff heard we had to leave by 5:30 am and she had the breakfast ready for us at 5:30 am! What a wonderful way to start our morning and leave the UP of Michigan!

The room was 80 when we arrived. No way to set the temperature to what we want. 15 20 25 30 So we set it to cool but had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off. The other day, when we were here, the staff could not tell us how to set the thermostat.

Hotel was VERY clean. One of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was hot and wonderful--especially the sausage gravy and biscuits. Will certainly be staying here again. Sault Ste. Marie is a wonderful place to visit!

Just the size of the dining area for breakfast. It is a bit small.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub(!!) were open until a reasonable hour and the breakfast was great! Room was sooo quiet and the beds were comfortable. Having a hot tub was such a bonus!

This is really not that important, but the flooring of the pool (pebbly) didn’t feel great if you weren’t wearing flip flops. Just wear flip flops until the edge of the pool and hot tub to prevent the issue.

Convenient location very close to I 75 exit. Rooms were clean & comfortable with refrigerator & great mattress. Bathrooms were spacious. Breakfast was good with sausage, scrambled eggs & waffles.

Pool was not in service. when I booked my room, I requested proximity to a family member’s room. That did not happen.
