The location is outstanding. You walk out of the hotel and you're in downtown Toronto, eight minutes from the BlueJays, 10 minutes from the lake, 15 minutes from the Art Gallery (Which is excellent), the only walk we took that was a little too long there and back was maybe the University/ROM. It's a beautifully finished hotel that somehow lives in a culdesac and bang in the middle of town. Ice cream place across the road (it's just a cupboard so you have to find it) is great, you should check it out.

We were in room 212 which is right above the front door under current arrangements (hotel is getting an upgrade) and this door woke me up by frequent use on my first day, because I was sleeping early with jet lag. Maybe avoid this room, although it is beautifully finished witha great bath. There was nowhere to have coffee or breakfast during remodeling, no bar, and no restaurant.

The hotel was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The room was big even for a family of 4. The location is very convenient to a lot attractions downtown, as well as a lot of great places to eat. The parking is on site. The windows are soundproof so you can't hear the construction going on outside, which was great. Will looks forward to coming back.

I didn't like the construction, it made driving to the location a real pain in the butt. It's beyond their control I know but the hotel seems to go the extra mile to make up for the inconvenience.

Location excellent for theatres and Union Station Staff wonderful Beds clean and comfortable Lovely bathroom

Main entrance was very disappointing and difficult to locate due to construction. We were in room 417. Unfortunately we just could not get warm. The AC was blasting and obviously set at 70, which sounds warm, but was really not! However we tried, we could not raise the temperature. Also: My husband cut his arm on a sharp piece of metal protruding from the ceramic tile above the vanity. And even worse, I suffered a nasty gash to my shin from the sharp corner of the wooden bed frame. It is a nasty wound and is well bandaged right now.

A great location in the heart of the entertainment district. The staff, including valet parking and front desk, greeted us very warmly and efficiently. Our room was ready 1 1/2 hours ahead of the posted check-in time. The room was quiet and large, with modern, comfortable furnishings and large windows onto King Street. Lots of restaurant choices in the immediate vicinity and the proximity to theatres or the stadium could not be better. On checkout, the valet parking brought our car to the door in less than 5 minutes.

Everything met expectations. No negatives. The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant or bar, but the pop-up coffee bar off the lobby was a comfortable, spacious and bright place for an afternoon cup of tea.

Great location. Rooms a good size. Linen beautiful. Staff exceptional. Very helpful when we had trouble checking in.Went out of their way to help us get our passports to Toronto when we left them behind. We didnt have the breakfast package -so cant comment.

The lobby area was under renovations -so no proper lounge area to wait in. This could have been reflected in the cost of the rooms. However -it didnt really spoil our visit -and given our slightly stressed time there -the staff compensated adequately.

Exceptional location, staff, amenities, and room. Located near the entertainment and financial districts (walk to a show 5 minutes away or the aquarium ten minutes away); beautifully appointed spacious room with nice touches like a Nespresso machine, choice of soft or firm pillows, and hotel-provided robe and slippers; very hekpful staff and management happy to help with recommendations on where to eat and what to do. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a peaceful, luxurious, clean, and modern space to stay in a prime spot in the city. Tip- Make sure to wear your hotel provided robe and slippers to the pool area!

We could only find beverage vending machines on floors 4 & 6 but didn’t see any snack machines. Maybe we missed them? Nonetheless, it was easy enough to cross the street to go to the pharmacy where they sold plenty of snacks and fresh fruit. This is a minor thing- but a suggestion- some guests may want a snack machine.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable. All staff are very communicative. Location is perfect for accessing the entertainment district.

Valet parking is not very practical. Takes too long to get the car, inconvenient. When hotel first opened it was self parking which worked well. Especially if you forgot something in your car and want to access it quickly, which you can't do efficiently with Valet. It would be great if there was a functioning bar area. When going to restaurants, via Uber, they get confused as to the pick up location. King street with its reduced lanes is not a good starting point.

The valet, front desk staff were excellent. The room was well appointed. The robes were a nice touch. The towels, bedding and bed were on point. Location was perfect and it was QUIET!

One of the bedside table lamps was out in our room, the shower didn't work properly as one of the shower heads was broken, the curtain didn't pull all the way so when in bed a beam of light hit one in the face and the bathroom door closed right on the toilet door which created a chip in said door...hazard.

Staff was phenomenal. Front desk was courteous, accommodating, friendly and proactive. Room was very clean and well laid out. Great shower and bathroom, comfy bed and sofa, and great coffee (nescafé). Right from the start, we were treated to a pleasant, inviting, and stress free experience. I'd really like to emphasize the quality of the valet staff. They went above and beyond our previous experiences at other hotels. Very personable, helpful, made sure we had water bottles for the drive home. Just great guys! Our next stay in Toronto will definitely be at The King Blue hotel.

View from room was the back alley. The cabinet door covering the fridge opens the opposite direction to the fridge door (annoying). Complementary robes are small and not very soft. However, all things considered, not much to complain about.

There were 4 of us women, all celebrating our 60th birthdays. We stayed at the King Blue Hotel, close to the Princess of Wales Theatre where we saw Singin' in the Rain. The staff at the hotel were excellent! They stored our luggage for a short time, then got us into our room early. Wine glasses were quickly brought to our room, as per a request at booking time. Later, when we realized we didn't have enough towels, they brought them to us. We didn't use their pool, so I can't speak to the extra facilities, but all common areas, including washrooms were quite clean. Umbrellas were given to us by the Valet as we went out for breakfast. All of the staff were very polite and professional! I would readily recommend this hotel!

We had no issues that weren't immediately remedied within less than 15 minutes (I.e. towels)
